You’re here because you were dropped somewhere that tried sending you home, or you're someone with a call to the heart to explore the vast universe. The buses run at odd schedules, so please pardon any interruptions! I hope you fellas make yourselves at home, here!

[ Marjorie’s whole speech rings through your ears as you begin to explore the area. It seems a few people who arrived on the TDM have already been here for a week, but you’re just a newcomer. So where are you when this all went down? Are you trying to get back on a bus that’ll take you home, or…?

B. Home Sweet Home

[ The dust has settled on the bus ride here, and you can’t help but notice that your farmland… well, it’s a mess. Rocks and grass everywhere, no matter which layout you were set with. You were given a set of tools, and the message that this land is yours to shape or change or build on no matter what you want, so long as it’s yours. The little crate by the edge of the house is what will hold your bounties from farming, collected nightly with money delivered to your mailbox the following day, like some kind of Produce Fairy visited.

The house is in alright shape. It’s not brilliant, but it has a kitchen, a bathroom, and a studio bedroom where all your belongings can be. It’s wide enough to accommodate several things until you upgrade it.

Sometimes you see a stray dog or cat at the edge of your property. Do you adopt it?

Anyway, it’s time to make what you will of your farm. ]

FESTIVAL PLAYLIST

[ Down a hill a little ways from Pelican Town is a remarkable festival set-up! Several attractions and vendors line the streets where everything is going down. Where will you go? ]

C. Food Stalls

[ Surrounding the entire property are dozens of food stalls, from all around the universe. Marjorie bussed in caterers from all around with a healthy sum of gold, and they’re happy to sell their wares in this strange place tonight. Where you might find octopus balls, you’ll also find kraken balls. Where you might find corndogs, you’ll find dogs selling corn.

It’s a veritable buffet! And the gold you’ve started with is more than enough to go shopping for food. Have fun! ]

D. Games

[ All manners of Carnival Games are set up! From throwing a baseball at bottles to catching goldfish with a paper net, everything you can dream of is here. There are even some unorthodox games, like dance-offs, karaoke, and a little bit of everything. Apparently, the NPC couldn’t choose who to go with what. It definitely makes for a big festival.

In addition to the above, there’s water gun races, squeaky duck ponds, skee-ball, target shooting, test your strength with a hammer, pitching speed, shooting hoops… and more! ]

E. Three-legged Race

[ You didn’t think this festival was going to go by without tomfoolery, did you? For the prize of 1,000 Gold, you can rally up a partner and get tied to them by the ankle, participating in a no-rules no-bars-held race. The winners will be randomized! But the real gift is going to be the fact that the ties around your ankles? Aren’t coming undone. You’re going to have to be tied together until 11 PM! ]

F. Fireworks

[ Errant magic and mishaps aside, you have to admit, the fireworks show at the end of it all is really something. Marjorie hired a pony for them, and the lights are as ethereal as they are non-traditional. It’s a good moment to snuggle up to someone or enjoy company with a new friend. ]

The Harvest God

[Curious visitors who wander a little beyond the boundaries of the festival and stalls might stumble upon a small square, surrounded by shrubbery and set with beautifully maintained plant beds. It has an air of calm seclusion that makes the lively festival seem miles away and at its heart, nestled in the winding roots of a particularly distinguished looking oak tree, is a minature shrine. It's been decorated with offerings in the shape of flowers and candles which flicker with a warm glow as the sun starts to dip below the horizon. If asked, the locals will explain that it's dedicated to the Harvest God- and some might, with a glint in their eye, add that he suffers greatly with allergies during the summer. Anything that might help would be an excellent offering in its own right.

Who knows? Maybe if you catch his attention, he'll even put in an appearance for the festival. It's not every day you get so many brand new guests, after all. Just one night among mortals couldn't hurt.]

Getting a farm with a brewery on it might be some cosmic joke, but I roll with the punches. I've made some pretty decent Pale Ale if anyone here wants a try.

Considering how hard Lusamine had been working, it was a treat to be at the food tables. With all sorts of treats and meals at hand, she was sitting back with a plate. Her Pokemon were around her, all dining as well.

"Oh this is delicious," said Lusamine, taking a bite out of her food.

Watching the fireworks is so nice, and Lusamine was watching with an interested gaze. They reminded her of the previous fireworks display on the islands, and she turns to the nearby person. "Isn't it lovely?"

The amount of food is, frankly, overwhelming. It isn't just the excess--it's the freedom with which people seem inclined to share and offer, to sell at fair prices and mete out reasonably among one another.

Which, thankfully, is distracting enough to stop Horatio being utterly confused by what the assortment of creatures eating around this woman could possibly be.

[Tori may be adventurous in a lot of ways, but she's not quite ready to be that way with food. Instead, she decides to score some spicy curry, because that sounds like paradise right there.]

Mmm~ [Worry not, she isn't burning her mouth off, but the spice might be enough to set off a few people passing by if they're not the type to be accustomed to it.]

[While Tori enjoys her spicy curry, a small orange fox walks near her legs, attracted by the smell of it. Curious, it tries to cry out to her in an attempt to try it out.

Meanwhile, Augustine is trying to find his fox, who somehow got away thanks to Bulle's antics.]

[Jeb is definitely trying his best to knock over some bottles with a baseball! Unfortunately, he's never been known for his strength, so he's having a bit of trouble.]

[But he's not about to give up! There's a prize he's set on winning, and if one watches him long enough, it becomes obvious that he's aiming for the bright pink cat plush he keeps eyeing.

[Jeb is watching the fireworks and waiting for Tori to join him. He looks more like a child than a young adult as he watches, with how he does so in wide-eyed awe. Eventually, he hears someone approach and turns, immediately mistaking them for who he's actually waiting for.]

Tori-- o-oh, you're not her. I'm sorry! [Should you decide to stick around and chat with him, you may be joined by a third party.]

[ For a moment, Chara considers not helping... but only a moment. This was a new world with new possibilities, and no save points. Every action made a difference.

So they flicked a coin onto the table and silently picked up a baseball, only to whirl it against the bottles so hard they break. ]

At the Concert

[ Rose is absolutely transfixed by it! These cute little squid girls-- almost like aliens herself-- putting out music that Rose can dance to! If you're nearby, you'll almost certainly get swept up in her path, dancing like nobody's watching but with a fair bit of grace. ]

Isn't this an incredible melody? I've never heard anything like it before!

[ Eager giant woman is eager. ]

F. I can see a rainbow...

[ Rose is sitting calmly, looking up at the fireworks with more reserve. Once upon a time, this might have reminded her of the loudest cannons fired, the boom on the battlefield-- but no. These are flowers blossoming in the sky, of light and color and fire, and she turns to you. ]

Are you going to like it here? Do you think you will?

[The best thing to do, when feeling skittish, is to find someone who isn't--someone solid and practically radiating calmness. Even having been here a week, the fireworks are a bit overwhelming--and this rather tall woman is the clear pick to sit in the vicinity of for a bit of second-hand ease.

The question needs a blink all the same, attention flitting down from the sky again.]

...I think so. Do you?

D. Shoot the Target Game

[ Chara has a huge pile of prizes right by them... like, massive. Green bunnies, blue dinosaurs, purple kittens, and the carnie keeps looking perplexed every time they put down another coin and shoot the target dead in the middle, having to hand over another cuddly stuffed animal. ]

Take one. [ They say to the nearest passerby; ] I don't want any of them. I just like the game.

[ And they hoist up the play-rifle and fire again. ]

C. Deep Fried Everything

[ Chara's currently got a deep fried butterscotch pie on a stick. In their hands are several other choice items, like a deep fried oreo, a deep fried snickers, and a ... deep fried spider donut? ]

If you skip over the Spider Charity, the lady running the booth might come for you.

[ That's... ominous. ]

[That sure is quite the pile of prizes. He seems less interested in taking one, however, and more interested in watching them play.]

[ Despite getting dressed up in something cute, Tonika can't seem to pull herself away from her father's booth. She actually looks rather scared. So many different people, and the illogical, like arriving here at all, always leaves her in a state of panic. She grins and bows somewhat stiffly as people come by, handing out samples of the Pale Ale her father brewed, but what she looks like she needs is someone to pull her away from the party. ]

[ She starts to stray but bumps into someone-- you. ]

I'm sorry!

[you know who else isn't great at parties? this guy.

he's a scrawny thing, dressed in plain clothing and a large coat that looks a couple of sizes too big for him. while the festivities were initially very entertaining, now he's found himself rather lost, and everything he's seeing is becoming a little overwhelming. the colors are too bright, the people are confusing, his head hurts...

and he can't really remember how long he's been here, or how he got here in the first place--which is making him increasingly anxious. he's so distracted, doubting his own reality, that he runs right into someone as he's looking the complete other direction.

he startles, stumbling back a step. she can barely get out an apology before he, too, starts apologizing.]

Oh, I'm so sorry, are you--?

B. Home Sweet PokeHome
[Lillie arrived on her farm with a bag slung over her shoulder. A bag that keeps yelling 'PEW,' in a not-at-all suspicious sort of way. Her farm is a mess right now, but it has a lot of potential.

As soon as she stops walking, that suspicious bag bursts open and a troublesome Pokemon bursts forth. Lillie squeaks in alarm and struggles to grab them.]

Nebby! You can't come out yet! It might not be safe-- [Nebby, who listens poorly, zooms off and ends up hitting the feet of a passerby. Lillie gives another alarmed shout as she runs over.] I-I'm so sorry! You didn't see anything!

D. Games
[After determining that this is a safe place, Lillie is being a lot less secretive about Nebby. They're at her feet and keep stopping her to stare at games. In particular, Nebby stops at a target shooting game. They have their bright little eyes fixated on one of the prizes behind the counter: A stuffed cloud that looks like a sky version of Nebby.

Lillie realizes Nebby wants it, but sighs when she looks at the game.]

I-I'm sorry, Nebby... But I can't win this. I don't like shooting games... [Oooh but Nebby looks so dejected! She's so torn...!]

[After the festival, Lillie is hanging by a lamp post... Looking really worried. It's dark out and while she kind of remembers where her farm is, she's also scared.]

It's so dark, Nebby... Is it safe to walk home? And then... [She frowns slightly,] Be alone?

[She's 10, guys. Living alone on a farm in a strange world is a bit scary.]

[ Chara, not looking much older than her-- indeed, they might be the same age-- looks her over. This is probably the worst person ever to offer, but they've already established they can't harm or destroy this world or anyone in it.

And it's new. Unique. Not a reset upon reset of different things. ]

B - but farming is work [OTA]

Yiazmat finally wandered his way to the little hole in the wall they gave him, looking at the little house. The land itself was a mess and, honestly? Yiazmat wasn't really one for work. He wasn't sure how money was going to work for him but farming was not going to be it. At least, not right now. He was admittedly glad that there was a place he could sleep at night, though. Maybe he could do a little bit to tidy it up and make it look a little bit better...

But not until after the celebration. He was about to leave the land when a cat rubbed up against his shins. He bent down to pet it, only growing cross. It had the same fur color as that Miqo'te woman that had told him to slow down on the eating - pink and yellow fur. He grimaced at the cat and actively tried to shoo it, only for it to rub its head against his hands. He was clearly irritated by this but he was not being mean to the cat, just trying to convince it to go away.

C - oh gods not food [OTA - this occurs exclusively after E]
(OOC: He wants to interact with literally anyone except for her please pity this poor dragon boy)

Q'uila was merciless after the race, dragging Yiazmat around the food stalls and waving heavily scented foods under his nose, enjoying his obvious discomfort. He had gorged himself on food earlier before the new arrivals came so the thought of food was not appealing to him right now. Admittedly, though the 17 year old would never admit it, he was impressed at how much food the Miqo'te could carry despite her small form.

She kept making him gag with food she picked up, constantly waving it in front of him to punish him for saying she looked old enough to have a clutch of kittens, eventually dragging him to a table to sit down. He sat next to her with his head resting on his hand, definitely pouting at his situation. He occasionally would steal a small finger food type item (such as a french fry) off her plate and eat it, yellow eyes glinting as he scanned the crowd for literally anybody to talk to.

E - this is revenge for the kitten comment isn't it [Q'uila only please]

Yiazmat had gotten his hands on one of the ties for the three-legged race and was looking for a partner. He was weaving in and out of the crowd - staying clear away from the food stalls after gorging himself earlier - accidentally slamming directly into someone. Immediately he grew sheepish, spinning to look at them.

"I'm so sor-" He saw who it was and the apology died on his tongue. It was that Miqo'te woman earlier that had told him to stop eating. His face dropped into an irritated glare as he looked down at her. "Why don't you waaAAA-"

He hit the ground heavily, the wind knocked out of him. He could feel her doing something to his ankle and his eyes went wide as she finished. He sat up quickly and saw her tied to his ankle, a horrified look lighting up his features. He immediately went to untie the knot keeping their ankles together, finding he absolutely could not get himself free of it. He stood, glowering down at her as he crossed his arms. "Cat. Untie it. Now."

He will be wandering around for the extent of the festivities, or otherwise simmering if you choose to interact with him after he gets tied to Q'uila. Any company other than that Twelves' damned cat woman would be welcome!

A semi-familiar beast approaches, looking between the cat and Yizamat. Quietly giving a chuckle under his mask, Belias can't help but be amused.

"A wild beast." Which one is the Esper talking about? Who even knows.

[B - Sweet Home McDuck Farm]

[Scrooge has been here for a week already and he has been busy.]

[There's still quite a bit left to clear, but he's made room for a small barn and a small chicken coop, fencing both in with plenty of space for improving them. There's already a cow in the barn. In the coop are two chickens: a white one and a...strangely-demonic black one. There's also a little garden though it seems to be just for personal use, not selling anything.]

[Of course, this little farm has signs proclaiming "KEEP OUT" and "SCRAM". Not the friendliest guy, is he?]

[C - Food Stalls]

[Scrooge has a pail of food hanging from the hand not occupied by his cane, but he's scouting around the food stalls to see if there's anything else that he might want. So far, nothing's really caught his eye.]

[Ooh, is that fizzy lemonade? That used to be a real treat when he was a boy...]

[F - Fireworks]

[Scrooge is sitting a bit far from the festivities with a small picnic he brought from his farm in an actual pail. Nothing really all that elaborate: part of a loaf of sourdough bread, a small block of cheese, an onion, a bit of ham, an apple, three hard-boiled eggs, a small jar of butter, and two bottles of fizzy lemonade that he picked up in the food stalls. Really, it's just a ploughman's lunch being served for dinner: cheap and filling.]

[He's just going to watch the fireworks, periodically taking something from the pail to chew on.]

[Bridge himself has been frequenting the food stalls that evening, even as he was thinking of how to get back home. But the sight of a familiar figure catches his eye, and he grins as he hurries over.]

Hey, Uncle Scrooge!

[ Ah. Grimsley had made his way to the festival, a beautiful umbrella covering half of him... and the shade of a Hydreigon aiding the other half. A beautiful sight, or so he'd say.

But he seems willing to listen to any others - especially about his strange animals. An Alolan Persian follows close behind him, as does an Absol - he simply is strolling the roads, seeming to examine the many stalls and games a little. Shaking his head, far too amused. As the night came out, however, he'll be at the fireworks. ]

[ the owner of one of the stalls—a tall woman wearing some sort of reptilian skull mask as though she were a Cubone—does a muted double take at the sight of his entourage, and then puts down the flower crown she was in the middle of assembling so she can shamelessly lean out to get a better look. ]

[ So. Wherever you are, there is a young lady garbed in pink, the sun gleaming off her crystal-like scales. And she has a large book, already filled with notes - written in Common, at that. Before she talks to you, you may hear her pondering to herself. ]

A world with this power... I wonder if it's truly safe...

[ But! She's got a question for people - with a slight bounce, and a slighter smile, Bolormaa speaks. ]

Excuse me - may I ask you some questions? I promise it shall not take over long.

[rosed]

[ Here's Rose, with a new Off the Hook t-shirt she's proudly donning over her white gown. ]

Of course! What do you need?

[ She gasps, seeing her many crystal-like scales... ]

A fusion of that capacity?! Why, you're so small!

[ So. Farms, huh. The large Esper, Belias, has no desire to be here. But also has no desire to return home - for what is there to return to? Waiting forevermore for those who no longer exist?

No, they have decided to... try and blend in with sheep. So, if you're looking at them? Don't mind the giant-ass sheep, three times larger then a person, wearing a beautiful mask. Especially don't mind when they try and knock away the animals, who have realised this shaggy thing is WARM. Especially as the sun sets, and his fur glows warm and comfortable. By that time, he'd made his way to the town, at least. ]

[ Chara notices. Oh! With absolutely no fear, the child strides up to Belias. They don't touch, though, they merely look them over. A monster. Chara already feels welcome in their presence already. ]

Excuse me?

[ Testing the waters to see if you speak. ]

[ ...Huh. Okay, Fordola can't complain too much, at these games. Mostly because she's having fun showing off her strength with a hammer - though she can't get her numbers to the top. ]

You. [ She says, looking back. ] Can you beat me?

g:

--Alright. Who's heading out?

[ Fordola cannot stay here. She can't - at least, not at the farms and festivals. The silence is deafening - without tribute, she'll lose her power. Or she'll shift to being Ifrit, and she cannot handle that. Either way, she needs to get out - and she's going north. She's raring to head north to the mountains, and she might as well round up some others. Maybe she can command them. Make them listen to her.

Worship her. For those with the ability to sense aura, this lady... looks human, but does not feel it at all. ]

Heading out where?

[there's the curious canine tilt of his head-- he likes it here well enough, at least what he's seen of it so far. could perhaps use something soft around the edges after a lifetime (and technically a death, he supposes) of violence, but--

--but. it's still in him, of course. probably always will be. he was, after all, created to be a tool of war.]

D. did you think this was a GAME

[It was supposed to be for a cheap laugh, just to satisfy his curiosity about how one of those lame rigged boxing machines would rank a real punch. But the loud bells and flashing lights accompanying the score of 999 attracted more than a few eyes, and one thing led to another and now Mallory and the machine are surrounded by a small herd of very young children chanting his name and waving around chains of prize tickets. The guy operating machine wears an expression that begs for the sweet mercy of death and so does Mallory, honestly.]

Enough already! What was that, number ten? You brats should be earning your own damn tickets.

[A mass whine of protest fills the air, and Mallory laments over the ids being too young even for him to push around a little. Let him do something else. Anything else. Please.]

Look, see that person over there? [Sorry, innocent bystander and/or passerby, but Mal's POINTING YOUR WAY. Sacrifices must be made.] Go bug them!


G. or whatever

[Choose your own adventure! He's likely to be wallflowering in the more quiet areas of the festival, watching the fireworks or sneakily enjoying some cotton candy. He'll probably start heading out before the fireworks are even over, if you want to catch him off the fairgrounds.]

D.

I'll win prize tickets for them.

[ Chara's actually quite pleased Mal pointed their way. Trading a coin to the operator, Chara looks like they don't pack a big punch.

Looks are deceiving! Chara wallops the fake boxing machine, tapping out at 999 themselves. After a moment waiting for the tickets to come out, they hand them off to one of the random kids. ]

Doing nice things is rewarding, isn't it? [ aka 'you have a soft side, don't you.' ]

[Oh, wow. It's been some time since Seere's been able to attend a festival as just another reveler instead of as an important figurehead chained to some ceremony or another. He gets to just mingle with the crowd! The crowd almost entirely made up of people who tower right over him... he's going to do his best to avoid the more clustered areas so he doesn't get tripped over, but sometimes it just can't be helped.

So here's this six-year-old wandering the grounds alone, staring wide-eyed at everything as he takes it all in. By now he's managed to get his hands on some proper clothes that aren't a Hierarch's robes so there are some sweet tatts bro winding around his neck and arms under his basic t-shirt. Every so often he stalks between the stalls as though looking for something specific before some new wonder catches his eye all over again.

Seriously, where are this runt's parents?]

Seere! I don't think a tiny human like you should be wandering all alone. I learned that the hard way, once.

[ Sour Cream, please... She crouches and offers her hand. ]

Would you like to come with me? We can enjoy the festival together!

B. Home sweet home?

[Despite having been here for a very short while, the farmplot Anastasia was given has seen a fair bit of cleaning up. However, it still wasn't servicable enough to grow crops or raise animals.

But this sun. This hot, oppressive sunlight that seems determined to drain her stamina and burn her to death. Anastasia spent the entire day hiding away in her house, only sometimes coming outside leave a snack out for this young wolfdog that she noticed hanging around close by. She's not a big fan of dogs, but she loves animals nonetheless. She'll adopt it.

Anastasia finally comes out of hiding as the sky begins to turn orange as dusk approaches. Is there commotion nearby? Commotion means people. Perhaps with a wolfdog with her, the little lady can feel safe as she investigates.]

C. Food stalls

[It smells good. It looks good. But...are they actually edible? Anastasia slowly scans the food stalls with her new wolfhound beside her, taking in the sights and smells and just, in general, not having enough courage to stop and give them a try. And she's getting a might peckish as well from spending this much time around the food stalls.]

D. Games

[Anastasia was attracted to the lights and sounds of this area. It was shiny and new. Many of these games seem similar to ones she was familiar with as she simply browses around a bit, looking at the goldfish game and skee-ball. But a game which involves a hammer is new. A test of strength, she pondered to herself. Sounds like a boys game. Well, she did see a woman giving it a go earlier, so... The little lady decides to give it a try! Once she did what was expected of her, she was all set. She took the heavy hammer and did her best to swing it over and down on the pressure pad! The bar rose two pegs! That was better than expected.

Anastasia quickly puts the hammer back where it was and timidly backs away. Her hands stung a little bit.]

[She's been exploring for awhile, hasn't she? Anastasia was standing along the edge of the festival grounds, ready to go home when the fireworks began to light up the night sky. Her wolfdog didn't care much for it as it dashed and hopped around. What could be on her mind as she idly watched the fireworks display? A girl all by herself surely has a lot to think about.]

[A small family stops to watch Anastasia play with the hammer game. Uai is holding his girls' hands, for the first time in eons, and tugged to a stop when the 'youngest' spots Ana.

She points at Ana rudely.]

She's real bad at this!

[Uai flinches at his daughter's rude outburst. While he has missed the two girls dearly, this isn't something he's missed: Sakura's rudeness. His blonde daughter, Chika, smiles timidly at Ana.]

I think she did great... Are your hands sore? That looked heavy...

c. spoilt for choice
[Most things have been creeping into feeling like they might be normal. Horatio isn't wearing the mud-smeared, blood-stained uniform he'd arrived in. He isn't sleeping squeezed into a crevice between rocks or holding his breath at every little noise. He's wearing comfortable work clothes that smell like happy dirt. He's got a bed, and a roof, and a task he's actually well-equipped to handle when he wakes up in the morning. By and large, the understanding that this is his new reality is properly settling in.

But this much food in one place?

It makes him feel small and just a bit lost. It keeps his lips pressed together as he wanders slowly, trying to process the wonderful attack on his senses that the food stalls are pouring out into the world. Apparently having his senses bombarded is enough to dampen his natural stoic inclination, because he actually lets himself drift into other people's personal space.]

d. choosing your battles
[None of the games are familiar. Then again, Horatio supposes, the things he's most used to wouldn't scale well. No one wants to monitor four or five knucklebone players simultaneously having a turn, the way people lobbing balls or picking up rubber ducks could be watched.

Most of the flashing lights are overwhelming, but there's a bank of rather antiquated Skee-Ball machines he finds himself drawn to all the same. The motion isn't familiar, and the results are unpredictable, but it's something that earns an unabashed laugh before very long.

Having fun is... fun.]

[It isn't the cannon fire. It doesn't sound like the cannon fire. It doesn't look like the cannon fire.

But the celebration has worn Horatio out. His nerves, soothed by the past week, are still frayed enough at the edges to keep him glancing nervously up at the sky as he begins to wend his way home.

Which means, for the first time in ages, he's paying so little attention that he winds up walking smack into someone.]

Dango!!

[ She says it brightly, almost proudly, even if she's not the one who made it. Dango, actually dango! It's been so long...!!

Well, no, it hasn't been that long, but she hasn't been in a position to make or have her own for a while. It's the three-colored sanshoku dango, which might be a bit of a private joke for herself and her friends, but that doesn't change the fact that it's still tasty. She brandishes the stick for a moment, like someone (very poorly) managing a sword, but then holds it up for better inspection.

Then she gets a good look at the boy, his stoic expression, and makes herself gentle both her voice and her expression. ]

They make it out of rice flour and sugar and red beans. Not too sweet, but still good for dessert or a snack. Would you like to try?

D. Goldfish party!

[Once he's clocked off from selling his veggies, Kojuro finally decides to go and enjoy the festival like a normal human being. He...Is wearing a yukata most improperly, but figures that it's inoffensive enough that he can get away with it. Look, I make the rules, not him. He's already done a quick sweep of the food stalls and come away with a candy apple, and...

Well, it'd be a tragedy if he didn't go for something even he's familiar with.

Unfortunately for whoever's running the goldfish scooping stall, Kojuro is a man with nigh-endless patience and steady hands; although his scoop does indeed break a few times, he's going to get a whole bag full of goldfish at this rate. Maybe he can start a pond! Oooh, that'd be nice. ...Someone stop him from raiding the goldfish stand though or no one else will get a go, damn.]

F. That's a magical horse right there.

[Magic ponies aside though, it doesn't take a genius to appreciate the hard work put into pyrotechnics of this scale and skill. Kojuro's huddled up on a bench, goldfish between his knees as he crunches on his candy apple and simply watches.

God, he's homesick. This is all nice, but he's homesick already, and it's written clear on his face when it's lit up by each flash of coloured light.]

...Should have bought sake. [That might make this a little less painfully nostalgic, and a little more warm and beautiful.]

[ As Kojuro aims for a goldfish of his own, he has a specator watching with rapt attention. A strange catlike creature sits watching him, smiling impishly as if just waiting for an overly eager to escape fish to jump the wrong way. ]

"Hey hey, Mister! I'd like one!"

[ A woman appears not too long after, giving the feline a disapproving stare. ]

I'm sorry. Is he bothering you?

[Manfred arrived to his farm, and found it to be an utter, utter disaster area. Or well, it seemed that way. First thing was first, he needed to clear a sizable section of the field if he was to get established. Of course, he wasn't the only one here, having arrived with one of his wingmates, but they were off working on procuring supplies and food for the next couple of days.

So the pilot took to work, scything out weeds and cracking stumps with an axe. Fortunately, this man was quite in shape, and was able to do quite a bit of work, but eventually he has to take a break. He leaned up against a fence and took a long drink from a canteen of water, perhaps catching sight of a visitor who wandered their way onto the farm. Of course, one thing stood out on the farm... might be a conversation piece.]

[That said, a festival couldn't be ignored either, and after a long day of hard work, the pilot wandered through the myriad of food stalls, some of which actually catch his eye for being unique. Still, he already has a slice of pizza in one hand and a beer in the other.]

...What the heck is a Quarsian Xilostic? ...Is that even how it's pronounced? I'm not sure I even want to try something that puts my tongue in knots...

[Finally, after a long day, the pilot settled down on a blanket on a hill to watch the fireworks, another ice cold beer with him at first, and then a couple of bottles of water. His wingman Firestorm was still down enjoying the fair and would arrive eventually, but until then he leaned back on the blanket to enjoy the fireworks...

...and occasionally he raised his hand, flicking his fingers forward, sending small sparkles of twinkling light flying from them into the air rather harmlessly. Maybe his own little addition to the otherworldly firework show.]

[Manfred's plane would be a conversation piece, if his 'visitor' wasn't already familiar with it. Instead, it effectively served as an obvious sign of where to go—Celia would recognize that thing anywhere. So, go there she did, with a heavy gust coming from the direction of the bus stop heralding her arrival.

Just in case he didn't immediately recognize that gust of wind for what it is, though, she called to him:] Hey, Manny! [...and in a matter of seconds she came to a fairly sudden halt in front of him, the wind calming back down as she did so. Fortunately he'd cleared enough stuff that there wasn't anything in the immediate area for her to trip on when she touched down.]

Couldn'tja have waited up a bit?

[Was he even aware that she'd followed him here? It was probably no surprise either way, but.]

[Usually, Augustine used the time to enjoy himself and the festivities around him. Instead, he finds himself trying to control his Pokemon, especially with his blue frog Pokemon, Bulle. And by control, it means trying to stop him from pestering other residents with its foam-like bubbles on his hood.

While it continues to pester them, it started to pester the nearby food stall, much to Augustine's dismay. Hope you don't mind a Frubble on your food or face!]

[A. Arriving]
[Arriving was surreal. He's supposed to be dead, and yet here he is: In a new world, which doesn't demand he be deceased. Uai stands with an initially vacant expression, having clearly gone through a lot. He hasn't realized his two daughters are here yet, so he's being a silently distraught father.]

[D. Games]
[With his daughters located, Uai is in a much better mood. His two girls are happily holding his hands as they wander through the game stalls. The girls are clearly young, no more than six years old, and want to investigate everything. Except strangers! When Uai approaches your character to ask a question, the two girls duck behind their father.]

Sorry to bother you. Have you seen any stalls here with bird-shaped prizes? [Dad has to win gifts for his kids.]

[D. Games / Daughters Specific]
[Inevitably, the girls are going to tear off to a game without waiting for their dad. Sakura is putting up a strong front, but she is clearly scared and nervous about getting lost. Chika just drops everything and starts crying.

F. Fireworks
[Uai ran into a problem after the sun set: His daughters wake and sleep based on the sun. When the sun is gone, the little robots turn off and flop against their dad. He has carried them up a hill to watch the fireworks. When he notices someone pass by his spot on the hill, he flusters and waves his hand apologetically.]

Sorry, uh. You can sit here too? We're not taking up too much space, are we?

[He has a single red cape laid over the girls to keep them warm. It's obviously not big enough, but it's all he's got at the moment.]

He happened to asked a young woman wearing a white spring dress with long pink hair, and she is accomapanied by a liger on her side. It is a calm night and they are simply enjoying the festival and eating the delicious food from the vendors. Arietta was a bit startled since she's not used to be around humans, let alone being asked for help, but she is trying and learning.

"Huh? Bird shaped prizes? I seen a vendor offering such. It's down the aisle." When the girls tear off and one of them started crying. "Oh no's, it going to be all right! Shhh, this place isn't so bad."

The liger prove itself to be tamed and start purring, but not used to human children, so he doesn't know what to do.

Turning to Uai, "I'm sorry." Smiling and trying to be helpful! "Is there anyway I can help? I'm Arietta and this is Nolan, my liger. He won't bite, he's really a big kitty inside."
