STARDROP CELEBRATION: FINAL DAY

LET'S PARTY!
premise | rules | taken | pick-up
A. Arrivals and Much More
You’re here because you were dropped somewhere that tried sending you home, or you're someone with a call to the heart to explore the vast universe. The buses run at odd schedules, so please pardon any interruptions! I hope you fellas make yourselves at home, here!
[ Marjorie’s whole speech rings through your ears as you begin to explore the area. It seems a few people who arrived on the TDM have already been here for a week, but you’re just a newcomer. So where are you when this all went down? Are you trying to get back on a bus that’ll take you home, or…?
B. Home Sweet Home
[ The dust has settled on the bus ride here, and you can’t help but notice that your farmland… well, it’s a mess. Rocks and grass everywhere, no matter which layout you were set with. You were given a set of tools, and the message that this land is yours to shape or change or build on no matter what you want, so long as it’s yours. The little crate by the edge of the house is what will hold your bounties from farming, collected nightly with money delivered to your mailbox the following day, like some kind of Produce Fairy visited.
The house is in alright shape. It’s not brilliant, but it has a kitchen, a bathroom, and a studio bedroom where all your belongings can be. It’s wide enough to accommodate several things until you upgrade it.
Sometimes you see a stray dog or cat at the edge of your property. Do you adopt it?
Anyway, it’s time to make what you will of your farm. ]

The Stardrop Celebration!
C. Food Stalls
[ Surrounding the entire property are dozens of food stalls, from all around the universe. Marjorie bussed in caterers from all around with a healthy sum of gold, and they’re happy to sell their wares in this strange place tonight. Where you might find octopus balls, you’ll also find kraken balls. Where you might find corndogs, you’ll find dogs selling corn.
It’s a veritable buffet! And the gold you’ve started with is more than enough to go shopping for food. Have fun! ]
D. Games
[ All manners of Carnival Games are set up! From throwing a baseball at bottles to catching goldfish with a paper net, everything you can dream of is here. There are even some unorthodox games, like dance-offs, karaoke, and a little bit of everything. Apparently, the NPC couldn’t choose who to go with what. It definitely makes for a big festival.
In addition to the above, there’s water gun races, squeaky duck ponds, skee-ball, target shooting, test your strength with a hammer, pitching speed, shooting hoops… and more! ]
E. Three-legged Race
[ You didn’t think this festival was going to go by without tomfoolery, did you? For the prize of 1,000 Gold, you can rally up a partner and get tied to them by the ankle, participating in a no-rules no-bars-held race. The winners will be randomized! But the real gift is going to be the fact that the ties around your ankles? Aren’t coming undone. You’re going to have to be tied together until 11 PM! ]
F. Fireworks
[ Errant magic and mishaps aside, you have to admit, the fireworks show at the end of it all is really something. Marjorie hired a pony for them, and the lights are as ethereal as they are non-traditional. It’s a good moment to snuggle up to someone or enjoy company with a new friend. ]
G. Wildcard
[ Exactly what it says! Make your own prompt. ]
[ OOC; Hello, everyone! This community is L I V E, from now on, you can make both network and action posts on this community, as well as use the notice board pinned to the top of the community! People who want to keep their CR from the test drive; you may! Your characters just arrived a little earlier than others! ]

This place was certainly interesting.
The cat continued to rub up against Yiazmat, though he was ignoring it. "Perhaps not, but..." He motioned vaguely to the cat, which batted at his hand playfully. He moved his finger around as the cat kept batting. Yiazmat's eyes were locked onto Belias's: searching, trying to feel him out. "...A little hard to think it isn't. It's hard to be always alone - even if the little creature has the tendency to prefer isolation."

Two conversations in one, however - was that not what Esper like him tended to use? There's a slight pause, as Belias stood - towering over Yizamat for a moment... before sitting. Showing the lack of second being on them, without needing to say it. (It still hurt, their body shifting to one and losing that connection. Being isolated again.) Instead, after a slight pause, Belias nodded to himself. He was... as sertain as he could be, really.
"The Stone are cruel in their ways. An isolation more then that cat would ever know."

"The scope of knowing is limited only by the experiences a being suffers." Yiazmat sighed, relenting, his gaze dropping to his feet. Being trapped in the auracite was much worse than any banishment or other physical sealing. "You are not wrong, though. That is a lonely existence, trapped away in such a manner without another to keep company. A cat is always free to wander." He looked back up to Belias. "And how did such a lonely creature end up here?"
no subject
"They cannot be trapped - tricky beings," Belias said, giving a small smile to the cat. And yet, he loomed. "I recall seeing your host move, and yet - I would not follow. Those who wished to fight reminded me of a time long gone."
Even as such a lonely being, Belias keeps getting attached. Keeps on getting attached to mortals, falling for them, loving them. Ever since losing their other half once again, Belias... couldn't handle it again. (Even if he'd gained Basch though horrific experiments, and sometimes identified as the man.)
"Is it wrong to run from that? Time will wait, it seems - of only while here.
...What of you? Your body has changed once more." Is it this world? Or was it a new rebirth after getting defeated?
no subject
"We are all running from things we wish not to face, otherwise I think we wouldn't be here. There is nothing wrong in it. Running can yield freedom, which is what this place seems to be, at least on the surface.
As for me? I awoke in Ivalice yet again, though I do not believe it to be the original Ivalice I called home. I am not sure how I came to be trapped in an auracite, but my consciousness woke to the rage of a bangaa in this Other Ivalice.
Yiazmat paused, a flicker of regret crossing his face as he thought about Ba'Gamnan, but he did need a vessel.
"...I was to face the warriors there, like it seems I am always fated to do. To say I do not revel in it would be a lie, but I tire of wearing chains.
As for how I came to take this form?" He motioned vaguely to himself with one hand. "I do not know. I am amused that the magic that managed to change my body did not also change my voice. It also feels as if my power is unaltered, though I worry about the frailty of this body. It is nowhere near as grand as the one this world has given you."

Belias was forever loyal to Raithwall and his descendants, in all realms. Even if the ones in that other Ivalice were not his blood, descendants of his love for his mortal. "She was the same who died with your new vessal - Empires forever cruel." That voice that seems to echo though the Esper, amusing him. Still, he has questions. About how it fell - how the one he calls his corpse relates to it. It hurts to consider.
The fact it was this realm that altered Yizamat seemed to amuse him more. "This form... without the corpse sacrificed, perhaps it asks me to let go. Or perhaps it is simply like the War of the Lions - an era I do not recall you awakening in. One where Lady Ultima trusted me - for a time. Until I fell, and slumbered in the Stone once more.
...I do not recall how the Stone made it across to a new Ivalice." Belias wished he knew - wished he could give answers. But Auracite dulled him, and made him sleep. Made him lose who he was.

Yiazmat was quiet for a while, listening to Belias, pondering. There was a look of regret on his features at the mention of she who died, but that faded as Belias continued.
"I admit that how it is that we crossed to the Other Ivalice does not concern me all that much, but I had much less to leave behind." A pause. "...I do wish I could offer you some theories as to how we ended up there, but being clever was not what I was known for.
I would just like to ride this little break out for as long as I can before I have to return to sleep once more."
Sleep was certainly a gentle way of putting it. There was no guarantee he would wake again after his next death and, to be quite honest, the thought of that scared him.
no subject
"A break before we sleep once more..." Belias said, gently rumbling. This realm was strong, it gave them form. Form to the formless. "I think that is a noble goal. You can blend in with Man. And I...
...will make sure you do not fall easily, hm?"
