So you want to be a farmer? Here's the deal. Farming's stupid easy. First thing you gotta do, is you gotta--

[ streeeetch ] You gotta get yourself all nice and limber for the farming. [ crossing one arm over a shoulder, streeetch, doing the opposite. ] The farming that we were all interrupted in the multiverse to do. Specifically, coming here for farming, when my best friends are back home and this is supposed to be a place that reunites best friends or whatever.

Anyway, you take some seeds. [ Throws them over his shoulder. ] -- oop.

[ He turns and blasts the seeds to grow into an impressive beanstalk, sprouting weird vegetables that only wizardry would make. ]

Did you really just-- [ She can't do it. She can't actually convincingly make the white noise sound, so it just sort of sounds like someone hissing through their teeth. ]

Wait, wait, back up! How'd you do that??

[ She also says that with emphasis, bright-eyed and (literally) bushy-tailed. ]

Cooler than the whole... you know. [ And that she punctuates with a handwave at the beanstalk. ]

Me saying static-y noises was cooler than the beanstalk? Are your priorities in check or do you just like funny mouth noises because I have several--

That beanstalk is going to cause a huge mess when it starts shedding all its leaves. And when it's that dramatic, who's going to want to trim and prune it? It'll run wild! That's not responsible at all.

[ She says, like she ever really paid attention to the lectures she'd gotten from the Ultimate Farmer, but she can at least protest on her sense of tidiness! She doesn't even own a rake yet. ]

Anyway, that was magic, right? That's a shortcut most of us wouldn't have.

Wellllll it's a shortcut I have, so your point? And if it starts shedding, I can magic the mess away. Magic is a really nifty thing to have. I'm not about to pick up a hoe and do it the fair way.
