[action/log/thing] first day here
Who: First scenario is Ray and Zack only, but the second is Ray and whoever runs across her!
What: Ray arrives at an odd hour, gets brought home, and then does some exploring. Also, one of the buses has lost part of its roof. Whoops.
[1. Arriving]
[The town is asleep when this bus screeches to a stop a few feet away from the actual bus stop. Yes, screeches, and it's clear why at a glance: there's a hole in the roof, as if something crashed through with great force.
The agitated driver exits, carrying what looks like a silvery package. Once they put it down though, it's obvious that it's not a package - just a small, worryingly pale girl with pale blonde hair and a white coat. The driver looks even more agitated as they shout concerns at the tiny thing.
People are not around to see how the girl doesn't react, nor how it unnerves the driver so badly they climb back into the bus and make a U-turn without even looking for anyone at the stop.
Rachel just stands there, like a tiny, discarded doll, and nobody is there. Nobody decent, anyway.
So that, of course, means...]
[2. Exploring]
[Decent people will probably run into Ray wandering around town, not much worse for wear despite her weird arrival. She's mostly on the edges of town, in the less populated areas. The woods, for instance, or the edges of other farms. She might be near the stores and whatnot, but not often.
For such a tiny teenager, her eyes are surprisingly dead-looking. There's no emotion on her face, and it's probably a little unnerving to see!
Maybe it's for the best that she shies away from the more populated areas. She's only trying to familiarize herself with the layout, after all; she's not actively trying to spook people by wandering around and being herself in their midst.]

But he sees the tiny lost-looking child long before he actually collides with her or anything. He doesn't think he's seen this one before... should he stop and check on her? Probably. His pace slows step by step until he stops to lean forward and rest with his hands against his thighs.]
Phew... You doing okay out here, kid?
