001 - audio - spider in the roses
[ You heard it here first, folks. If you're listening, there's a rather angry sounding banshee woman who's had about enough of this place, and would've liked to go home hours ago. But here she is, with a bit of a sniffle behind her thick accent. ]
Well, this is just grand. If there's anyone in this wretched place that'd like to talk about bartering some lab equipment, I'd be in your service.
And, I'd also offer services to someone who can get this hay out of my backyard. It simply cannot stay, no matter what.
[ There's a sneeze somewhere in the background. ]
Services rendered depends on what you'd need. I specialize in medicine, but it's not likely what you're thinking.
Good day.
[ Another sneeze. There's probably a red faced, living in a tissue Moira behind that audio somewhere. God someone please come get rid of it for her. She can't go near it. Some things genetic editing can't seem to fix. ]

The day Moira turned cloak. Nonetheless, she puts on a passive aggressive smile. ]
Do you need a doctor, Miss O'deorain?
no subject
A little cup of coffee, what she's managed to get her hands on between arriving and now.
So now, imagine her blood running slightly colder, hearing Angela on the other side of her feed. Her pen goes down, and she can't help but smirk behind her screen. How unfortunate. ]
Well that depends on who's offering, Dr. Ziegler.
[ MUTE FOR A MOMENT TO BLOW HER NOSE.
Okay cool, we're cool. ]
I wouldn't want to put you in a precarious position now would I?
[ YOU BET SHE WOULD ]
no subject
[ oh it is on ]
On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your allergic reaction?
[ Keep in mind, Angela is doing NOTHING to get rid of the hay, even though she very easily could. She's even looking into one of her pouches for a container of benadryl. Yep. ]

[ Sniffle. Shit, that's definitely not what she wanted to let slip. Oh well. No hiding it anymore. She leaves the button on her pad alone, sipping her coffee. ]
Well, you tell me. Postnasal drip, copious sneezing, irritated throat, swelling of the throat and nasal passages, minor headache, dry eyes. Surprisingly, no urticaria symptoms yet.
I'd say a seven. You?
[ CASUALLY, LIKE her allergic reaction is a game. It's not. ]
no subject
[ She shakes a little bottle of antihistamines in front of the camera, precious though they are, Mercy is sure she can get more. ]
I'm also curious as to how your doing? Detached from all those things that make you... you.
[ tech stealer >:( ]

But they do hear the broadcast being made - and give a grunt, breaking his silence - quite loudly. ] I may burn it, but it is worth bartering with others.

Moira would open the door but heaven forbid the pollen be let in. Gently, she tips her (hideous) curtains to the side, and fakes mirth the best she can. ]
Not a favor I'd curry to you now, Gabriel, but---
[ That's. Not...Reaper. That'----That's not even a person. ]
Ahem. My apologies.
no subject
Did the Auracite awaken in the future, again? Possess somebody else? Belias can't help but wonder now. ] I'll ask later. [ He says to himself, before: ] You do not need to apologize.
no subject
You both sound eerily similar, that's all.
So I do; not at all able to meet you outside properly. How rude of me.
no subject
[ But, on his voice, he clears his own throat. ] This voice-- is one I give to any I possess.

[audio... or we could action it up!]
[He sounds so sympathetic.]
audio works unless you’d prefer otherwise!
[ That sounds an awful lot like Jesse. She’ll bite her tongue for now. ]

With antihistamines, Jesse. I apparently have hay fever.
Which is a riot, seeing as how I’d once worked with you.
[ She don’t like her allergies. :( ]
no subject
[He knows that difference. He knows it well.]
I mean if you don't want your hay I'll gladly take it... but ain't gonna' be easy runnin' a farm with no animal feed. [Moira think of your farm. How will you farm.]

however, she does know a congested voice when she hears one! ]]
You sound very not well, Miss! [[ so observational. ]] Are you ill? If you specialize in medicine, shouldn't you take some for whatever is ailing you?
[[ in nia's defense, i'm not sure she even knows what allergies are, much less that hay can cause them. ]]
no subject
[ Listen, kid... ]
I have allergies. Something I didn't anticipate.
no subject
Ah, but you are a doctor, correct? Do doctors normally not have medicine around? Our ship is always stocked! [[ tempting fate all the time, this one. ]] Please be sure to restock your medicine soon, Miss.
no subject
No, they do not. They have access to them through other means, they know how they work. And, I am not that specific kind of doctor.
[ Now that she's taken into account it could be a child, the banter is much more innocent. ]
Thank you. It's on my to-do list.
no subject
Oh, I see! I apologize for my assumptions, then! [[ so polite. ]] You mentioned something about hay that needs to be removed... I could try and move it for you, to make up for my impolite behavior.
[[ her voice is a pretty accurate depiction of her size, which makes the offer somewhat laughable. she's a hard worker, though! ]]

[The voice sounds automated, but he's pretty passionate about it.]
But I don't want hay / in return for anything / something way better.

You'll find that I haven't been here for very long, so I've yet to procure any gold. All I have for the time being are favors, and my profession.
