Starhue Valley

[Dezel had been in town for a month or so now, about as long as anyone else... it just seemed that most everyone else couldn't see him. He was used to that, so even if he hadn't been able to communicate with the others for a while, he set about making himself comfortable in this place. He'd found his farm, and while it was weird for him to live like humans did, he spent the majority of his time clearing out his fields and cleaning the place up. He didn't need to eat, or sleep, or anything like that, so at least that was easier for him.]

[It was cathartic, too. After losing Rose, and everyone else, burying himself in the tasks he'd been given by this weird pocket dimension made him feel a little better. It was quiet, the humans hadn't yet bothered his farm, and he was... happy? Probably not, but as close as he could get at the moment. That all ended today, because...]

[As Dezel walks through town, you and everyone else can see him. The seraph is used to being invisible to humans but that doesn't mean he's doing anything bad... The worst he does is grab a cola from the ice box at the convenience store; while it looks like he's stealing, he throws the 25G for it in the complaint box by the door before sweeping out of the door like... well, the wind. He pops the metal cap off the bottle with his teeth and spits it into the waste bin near the door. He doesn't litter, he doesn't vandalize anything... He's acts very much like a spirit unused to the world's attention. He walks over to the bulletin board and with a woosh of the wind he jumps up on top of the sign in the center of the square and drinks his cola. It's not something he had in his home world and while seraph didn't need to eat or drink the sugar was... well, he'd grown fond of it.]

[Dezel isn't above stealing (and it wasn't stealing if he left the money behind for the items he pilfered!) but he also... feels weird about doing it for any of the animals available for them to raise. He's not sure how they'd feel if one of their chickens was suddenly gone, that sort of thing. At least, he'd be pretty upset if that happened to him. So he'll be standing outside the ranch, looking a bit shady to be quite honest, wondering if and how he can aquire some chickens.]

[Whether Dezel stole or didn't steal the chickens isn't a matter of importance. What is important is that he can be seen walking home, toward his hill-top farm, with a chicken under each arm. One is white and black and the other is brown and both are gently clucking and generally pretty chill. Dezel has that kind of way with animals, even if other seraph prefer to avoid them because they can sense them where humans can't. Dezel doesn't mind that, he's never minded the company of animals. He's walking normally so he doesn't spook the hens, even if there's a gentle puff of air that shifts unnaturally around him every so often as he walks.]

[After all, he's using it to see.]
