STARDROP CELEBRATION: FINAL DAY

LET'S PARTY!
premise | rules | taken | pick-up
A. Arrivals and Much More
You’re here because you were dropped somewhere that tried sending you home, or you're someone with a call to the heart to explore the vast universe. The buses run at odd schedules, so please pardon any interruptions! I hope you fellas make yourselves at home, here!
[ Marjorie’s whole speech rings through your ears as you begin to explore the area. It seems a few people who arrived on the TDM have already been here for a week, but you’re just a newcomer. So where are you when this all went down? Are you trying to get back on a bus that’ll take you home, or…?
B. Home Sweet Home
[ The dust has settled on the bus ride here, and you can’t help but notice that your farmland… well, it’s a mess. Rocks and grass everywhere, no matter which layout you were set with. You were given a set of tools, and the message that this land is yours to shape or change or build on no matter what you want, so long as it’s yours. The little crate by the edge of the house is what will hold your bounties from farming, collected nightly with money delivered to your mailbox the following day, like some kind of Produce Fairy visited.
The house is in alright shape. It’s not brilliant, but it has a kitchen, a bathroom, and a studio bedroom where all your belongings can be. It’s wide enough to accommodate several things until you upgrade it.
Sometimes you see a stray dog or cat at the edge of your property. Do you adopt it?
Anyway, it’s time to make what you will of your farm. ]

The Stardrop Celebration!
C. Food Stalls
[ Surrounding the entire property are dozens of food stalls, from all around the universe. Marjorie bussed in caterers from all around with a healthy sum of gold, and they’re happy to sell their wares in this strange place tonight. Where you might find octopus balls, you’ll also find kraken balls. Where you might find corndogs, you’ll find dogs selling corn.
It’s a veritable buffet! And the gold you’ve started with is more than enough to go shopping for food. Have fun! ]
D. Games
[ All manners of Carnival Games are set up! From throwing a baseball at bottles to catching goldfish with a paper net, everything you can dream of is here. There are even some unorthodox games, like dance-offs, karaoke, and a little bit of everything. Apparently, the NPC couldn’t choose who to go with what. It definitely makes for a big festival.
In addition to the above, there’s water gun races, squeaky duck ponds, skee-ball, target shooting, test your strength with a hammer, pitching speed, shooting hoops… and more! ]
E. Three-legged Race
[ You didn’t think this festival was going to go by without tomfoolery, did you? For the prize of 1,000 Gold, you can rally up a partner and get tied to them by the ankle, participating in a no-rules no-bars-held race. The winners will be randomized! But the real gift is going to be the fact that the ties around your ankles? Aren’t coming undone. You’re going to have to be tied together until 11 PM! ]
F. Fireworks
[ Errant magic and mishaps aside, you have to admit, the fireworks show at the end of it all is really something. Marjorie hired a pony for them, and the lights are as ethereal as they are non-traditional. It’s a good moment to snuggle up to someone or enjoy company with a new friend. ]
G. Wildcard
[ Exactly what it says! Make your own prompt. ]

Home sweet home. Toshinori was laying in a hammock, just resting. He could hear the sound of people partying down the road and while he was loathe to get out of bed, he was really hungry.
Perhaps someone could convince him to do so?
C
Toshinori had been dining when he had arrived at the celebration. His farm was still a shambles, but he had been healing from his injuries for a while now. Fortunately, there had been some kind locals who had cleared off a space for him to plant those starter parsnips.
Loading up on protein, he was eating at a steady pace, waving at people he knew and people he didn't.
Wildcard
[Perhaps watching the ducks on the river? Or getting a checkup? You decide!]
C
For her part, she's also got a skewer of meat clutched in her free hand, bouncing a little on the balls of her feet. In fact-- ]
Hiii~i! It's a nice day, isn't it?
[ --she's wandering straight over, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
Literally, I mean; she's got a fluffy striped red-and-black tail curled behind her. ]
Re: C
[Toshinori glanced over at her tail. Not an uncommon thing to see back home. One of his students was like a bird, and the other had a tail.]
Enjoying the celebration?
no subject
[ Her tail swishes with the comment. She can't wag it like a dog might (and not for lack of practicing), but she can use it as visual punctuation. ]
It's cute, right? Everyone looks like they're having a good time. I didn't wanna let it pass me by!
no subject
[He wanted to ask what her quirk was, but realized there was probably no one from his world here. Yet anyhow.]
It seems like today is going to be eventful from start to finish.
no subject
[ That said, she thrusts out a hand in invitation. There's still a refreshing novelty about being somewhere where she isn't recognized, and she can build her own reputation from the ground up. ]
And it wouldn't be a festival if it wasn't busy, right? As far as icebreakers go, this one's nice!
no subject
Nice to meet you too. And yes, it's quite busy. I'm quite interested in how this place attracts all sorts of people.
no subject
For such a small person, she has a pretty steady grip, and she's got some obvious work calluses along her palms. It hasn't been that long since Koriko and its charms. ]
Mmm, all sorts from all over... it's kind of amazing, right? Turns out, the world's a pretty big place!
[ World, worlds. She's still not sure how to reconcile all of it, except that she knows For Certain that this is not the same world where she was born. ]

B
[She stops in front of the hammock, watching with bright and starry eyes. Her sister and father catch up a moment later.]
Sakura, sweetie, he's trying to sleep. [Just as Uai scoops up Sakura, the blonde girl begins hopping around.]
Let's buy it from him!
Re: B
Oh hello there. Nice day isn't it?
no subject
Waaah, we're going to jail cuz of Sakura!
I'll be fine! Take my place, Chika!
[please help him.
Uai now has Sakura on his shoulders, with one hand securing her foot, and the other fluffing Chika's hair to calm her down. Haaah, they're so tiring. Lovely, but holy.]
Pardon our intrusion, sir. We'll be on our way.
I don't think my girls have seen a hammock up close before, so they got excited.
no subject
[Sitting up, he swung his legs over and pushed himself to his feet, rubbing his arms. Up close, the man was a skeleton, painfully thin but he had a warm smile.]
I'm Toshinori, your girls are welcome to play on the hammock while I attend to the garden.
no subject
I really shouldn't allow that. They might break it. [With how the two robot girls are much heavier than normal girls.]
We can calculate a proper center of balance so that we don't fall.
[It's so hard to say no??? But Uai is trying to keep his stance on the matter firm. He can't let them completely steamroll his will.]
Girls, I gave you the answer. [sigh.] It's nice to meet you, though, Mr Toshinori. These two are Chika and Sakura, and I'm Uai.
Do you need any help with your gardening? A farm is a lot for one person.
no subject
[A large sheepdog looked up, blowing fur out of its eyes with an upturned gust of breath.] Woof, [he remarked.]
Nice to meet all of you. And yes, I could use some help. I'm recovering from some injuries I sustained before arriving, so some aid would be helpful.
p.s. toshi is my fave - fireworks?
The sky was alive like magnificent and dancing art. Something he'd never really gotten the chance to see, though he had heard about here and there from his humanoids - both Bajoran and Human alike.
"Incredible..." he said to the person next to him. Who happened to be tall and blond. "I take it this is common for you?"
yay! and yes fireworks
"Have you ever seen fireworks before?"
no subject
"No. They are rather... ill advised on a space station."
no subject
He held out his hand. "Toshinori Yagi. Nice to meet you."
B+Wildcard? Let me know if this is okay!
He got directions and found his way to Toshinori's home. He went to the door on instinct, wrapping his fist there a few times before his gaze traveled to... some kind of bed suspended in the trees? And a man there, at least partially asleep. Silas approached with some caution, clearing his throat with some volume in case his knocking on the door hadn't alerted or awoken the man.
"Hello, good sir? I hope you don't mind an unexpected visitor," said Silas, though his expression was rather confused by the sight of the hammock. What in the world is that thing? How entirely peculiar...
This is fine!
He got up, swinging his feet over the hammock as he winced a little. "Sorry for being so slow, I'm just healing right now."
no subject
"I'm Silas, a Druid of the Springtide. A doctor with healing magics, in the simplest terms. It's nice to meet you," he went on, manner kind and professional.
"I heard from the locals that you seemed... weary," that's a nice way to put it, Silas hopes. Really, the man's state had been described more like weird and messed up, but Silas wouldn't say that. He'll think it, but he won't say it.
"Could I help you at all?"
no subject
Lifting his shirt, he showed off the bandages and the shape of the scar in his body. "Can you help with this? Most of it has been internal damage exacerbated by combat."
no subject
"I need to touch directly to use my magic, is that alright?" he assumes it will be, tucking his gloves away in his vest, "and may I inquire about the cause?"
no subject
no subject
"Aah, I..! Perhaps you should move somewhere more stable? This strange bed seems very unsafe," so wobbly and precarious! Why? What is the purpose?
