A. Arrivals and Much More

You’re here because you were dropped somewhere that tried sending you home, or you're someone with a call to the heart to explore the vast universe. The buses run at odd schedules, so please pardon any interruptions! I hope you fellas make yourselves at home, here!

[ Marjorie’s whole speech rings through your ears as you begin to explore the area. It seems a few people who arrived on the TDM have already been here for a week, but you’re just a newcomer. So where are you when this all went down? Are you trying to get back on a bus that’ll take you home, or…?

B. Home Sweet Home

[ The dust has settled on the bus ride here, and you can’t help but notice that your farmland… well, it’s a mess. Rocks and grass everywhere, no matter which layout you were set with. You were given a set of tools, and the message that this land is yours to shape or change or build on no matter what you want, so long as it’s yours. The little crate by the edge of the house is what will hold your bounties from farming, collected nightly with money delivered to your mailbox the following day, like some kind of Produce Fairy visited.

The house is in alright shape. It’s not brilliant, but it has a kitchen, a bathroom, and a studio bedroom where all your belongings can be. It’s wide enough to accommodate several things until you upgrade it.

Sometimes you see a stray dog or cat at the edge of your property. Do you adopt it?

Anyway, it’s time to make what you will of your farm. ]

FESTIVAL PLAYLIST

[ Down a hill a little ways from Pelican Town is a remarkable festival set-up! Several attractions and vendors line the streets where everything is going down. Where will you go? ]

C. Food Stalls

[ Surrounding the entire property are dozens of food stalls, from all around the universe. Marjorie bussed in caterers from all around with a healthy sum of gold, and they’re happy to sell their wares in this strange place tonight. Where you might find octopus balls, you’ll also find kraken balls. Where you might find corndogs, you’ll find dogs selling corn.

It’s a veritable buffet! And the gold you’ve started with is more than enough to go shopping for food. Have fun! ]

D. Games

[ All manners of Carnival Games are set up! From throwing a baseball at bottles to catching goldfish with a paper net, everything you can dream of is here. There are even some unorthodox games, like dance-offs, karaoke, and a little bit of everything. Apparently, the NPC couldn’t choose who to go with what. It definitely makes for a big festival.

In addition to the above, there’s water gun races, squeaky duck ponds, skee-ball, target shooting, test your strength with a hammer, pitching speed, shooting hoops… and more! ]

E. Three-legged Race

[ You didn’t think this festival was going to go by without tomfoolery, did you? For the prize of 1,000 Gold, you can rally up a partner and get tied to them by the ankle, participating in a no-rules no-bars-held race. The winners will be randomized! But the real gift is going to be the fact that the ties around your ankles? Aren’t coming undone. You’re going to have to be tied together until 11 PM! ]

F. Fireworks

[ Errant magic and mishaps aside, you have to admit, the fireworks show at the end of it all is really something. Marjorie hired a pony for them, and the lights are as ethereal as they are non-traditional. It’s a good moment to snuggle up to someone or enjoy company with a new friend. ]

It was a skill she took pride in the fact she mastered it in a time where women were discouraged from doing such things. Honestly, that only made her deadlier. Rip always had to prove she was the best just for her survival.. until the day she met him in battle that final time.

Rip understood war just as well as any soldier was supposed to and maybe better than most others. She was the looser, he was the victor and her survival now depended on him. Simple as that.

She felt a bit of pride as she handed the lion over to him and then got that rare soft smile and the thank you. If anything, that made her own smile grow slightly, happy and warm. She genuinely was happy that he would treasure the gift and he could probably feel through their bond. Rip was definitely not afraid of him in this moment.

"Zhen lets discover zhem, together." She had the rabbit back in her arms again and was hugging it to her chest. Moments like this really did make Rip look less like a monster and more like an innocent young girl, despite how vicious she could be.

But, it was clear she was content with staying out as late as he desired.

The rabbit doll really suited her, and as the night goes on, they discovered more vendors and games. Most of the games are too easy for him to win.

By the end of the night, Alucard found a hill, which he brought her for a good view of the valley and the townspeople around. The fireworks show he had heard about is on display and they arrived on time to watch the show begin, the fireworks flared.

The fireworks light up the starry night sky as they exploded in an exciting area of colors. While it's odd for a vampire like him to enjoy, but the truth is, he did enjoy it.

Turning to Rip. "Enjoying the fireworks show, Ms. Rip?" He asked her.

He wasn't the only one that had too easy of a time at the games. There was hardly a game there that Rip couldn't manage even without him there. But, this was hardly a competition. Rip was happy with the rabbit he won her and was pleased with just receiving that.

By the end of the night, Rip was comfortable walking close with him and still pleased to be in his presence. So when they settled on a hill to watch the fireworks, she was sitting close to him though unsure if she was allowed to lean against him or even touch him at this point. So, she simply sat there with the rabbit in her lap as the fireworks started to go off.

She was gazing up as he spoke, the colorful lights highlighting her pale skin and freckles as she tore her gaze away from them to pay attention to her companion. "I am.. I used to sneak off und vatch zhe firevorks in Buenos Aries all zhe time." She smiled a little before turning her gaze back to the next round.

"Zhere are times I miss Brazil... but, I zhink zhis place is starting to suit me better. Zhank you for bringing me here."

He playfully nudged her, seeing she wanted to lean on him. But he decided to wrapped his arm around her instead, so she can lean on him while watching the show. He felt he wanted to, since she forgave him already, and a part of him is growing fonder of her, but he didn't tell her yet. The fireworks show is just a way to end a nice evening.

"Were you still thinking about Brazil all of this time? I think if you missed it that much, you would have learned to speak their language and become fluent." He's teasing her of course, and Brazil is best known for their carnival shows and parades. Perhaps someday, when the bus returned to regular service, they'll visit back again, and stopped by Germany too.

When the show is over, and when he heard that she thanked him.

"De nada, meu querido (You're welcome, my dear.)"

Rip was more than happy to lean against him once he put his arm around her shoulder. Yes, she'd forgiven him in her own way and there was no denying she was becoming fond of her Master. Her head found it's way to her shoulder as she went back to watching the fireworks.

"Vho's to say I didn't pick of zhe language? Or become fluent~." She smirked a little. Surprisingly, Rip was good with Portuguese. It was English she always had a hard time grasping, at least reading wise. But, she did manage. Besides, she spent more time in Brazil than she ever did in her native country, how could she not fall in love with it?

So if they ever got the chance, Rip would love to travel with him there and show him the sights and carnivals.

Eventually the show ended and she looked up when he said thank you and was.. very pleased he called her dear. Rip smiled and then impulsively kissed his cheek before resting her head back on his shoulder for a few moments to just enjoy the moment. She knew they'd have to move soon, though she wasn't sure she wanted to make the first move.

At that small kiss, Alucard has a feeling she liked him back. This is an unexpected turn of events. Why was this happening?

Still, it was on his mind that he started to have feelings for her, but he wasn't sure yet. He still have memories of his past. They are very old and had faded, and in a way they are holding him back...but it wasn't a lot. She doesn't exist in those memories since it happened a long time go. Just a little more time...

The odds are favorable if she has any feelings for him, and as a sign that his affection is mutual, he reached out to ruffled through her black hair, almost like a big brother would do for a small sister.

She only see that smile of his, but she should realized that his treatment is both teasing and trolling. "Let's go home, Rip."

Rip made a face at the way he ruffled her long black hair and then paused seeing that smile. She relaxed and just rolled her eyes slightly, knowing that he was just teasing her in his own affectionate way.

She'd just accept it for now as he mentioned going home. Very reluctantly she pulled away from him to get up and to lead the way back to their farms.
