[This is certainly an interesting situation. He'd come out of curiosity, and found an idyllic little setting here. It reminded him of better days in his past, especially on finding his designated farmland contained a lot of perfect space for mining. Not too much for actual farming or animal raising, but he'd make do.

And that "making do" would start with clearing some of the space around the farmhouse. But he's just a short old man, clearly he'd need help, right?]

"Come try your luck with a trick shot!"

[Scrooge had been checking out the assorted games when one of the barkers caught his attention. He almost didn't approach- these things were notoriously rigged, and he didn't expect being in a different world to change anything--]

"First round's free!"

[--until the man said that. "Free" always WAS his favorite word. He walked over and hopped up onto a stool by the counter, hooking his cane on his elbow to keep it nearby.]

Alright, laddie. Let's measure up.

[He's handed the gun and spends a moment or two looking it over, getting used to its heft in his hands, checking the sights. His experience may be with old Colts, but a pellet gun shouldn't be too hard. He measures up, the attendant is trying to hide a smirk at the aged duck squinting down the line of his beak through his glasses, Scrooge fires a shot-

PING. The first target goes down. Then the next. And the next. Scrooge's aim was spot on for all the shots he took, and by the time he handed the gun back, the attendant was staring at him in surprise.]

"Er. Pick a prize then, sir."

[Well. He didn't want one, but perhaps there was someone nearby who had been watching. He hooks the first elbow that comes close enough- probably yours -and gestures somewhat impatiently at the hanging prizes.]

G'on. Take one.

[And then hops down to continue on his merry way.]

[Scrooge is somewhat at the edge of the crowd, idly eating a snack from a nearby stall. He was staring up at the fireworks but mostly seemed to be thinking, his eyes somewhat unfocused. A little company might be nice, though.]
