[Wherever you may be—at home on your farm, out and about in town, exploring the wildlife, or perhaps even wandering through the more dangerous areas—someone has come to approach you, seemingly patrolling the area with a confident stride.]
Excuse me. I wanted to inform you that I have assumed the position of Sheriff. My name is Munakata, first name Kyousuke, and I can be contacted under that name at any time if you have issues that require police intervention. If you are capable of taking care of yourself I encourage you to apply for a position under me. We could use greater numbers to enforce order.
[Kyousuke himself is white-haired and imposing, with large snowy owl wings on his back and feathers covering the area where his right eye should be, like so. He is visibly carrying a sword, with another one tucked hidden in his coat in a compact state. He doesn't give off the impression that he's going to be a very easygoing Sheriff... but at least if you're in danger, that might be reassuring?]
Do you have any further questions or suggestions?

Oh—? Of course I wouldn't refuse your help.

[ She leans in closer, ducking her head a little so she can peer up through her lashes at him. It would be easy to kiss him, but also, her body language is suggestive enough, and that's enough. For now. ]
Just, maybe something that's a little more fitting. Something appropriate!
[ She's going to dress him up like an old western sheriff unless someone stops her.
Or maybe not, but at least something that's not all white for the sake of her doing the laundry. ]
You'll still probably want the coat though, huh...
no subject
[Maybe this is going to end up in some kind of sexy policeman roleplay? That wouldn't be a terrible option. Hmmm.]
I'm not overly attached to the coat. I'm not about to throw it away, but there's no need for you to incorporate it into whatever you have planned. It's not always weather-appropriate.
no subject
You'll probably want it if it gets colder here... but, I think I can come up with something a little better than a suit for you. Just for starting out.
And anyway, I'll have to get into the habit of doing clothes modification. I might as well start with a project for you!
no subject
[He doesn't mean to sound so comically skeptical, but, you know. He wears a lot of suits. Can she really come up with something better?! He does have to admit that in Koriko, he got very used to the ease of light and backless Japanese-style clothing. Is that what she's thinking of?]
I suppose. Do you require funding for materials?
no subject
[ They're still in public and there are people around, so she can't be as explicit about the flirtation as she'd like. But she knows him, and he knows her, and she trusts he'll be able to read her tone, and the way she bites her lip on her pout before peering up at him through her lashes. From a distance it should just look like an ordinary, semi-private conversation. ]
You know. We can negotiate that. ♥
no subject
Ah, of course. We can review that particular budget later tonight.
no subject
No she knows better than to go that far. But she does brighten at his suggestion. ]
I'd like that! You know I always feel better when we work together.
[ "Work" "together." ]
no subject
[He gives her one more deliberate smile of acknowledgment, before continuing.]
Is that all the business you had, then? Or was there something else?
no subject
[ She has to skirt around the issue! She can't just say it that boldly!! But at the same time... ]
I did want to ask that you make sure that my [ boyfriends? menfolk?? husbands?! ] ...partners [ aaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ] make it home in time for dinner. I'm working hard on it!
no subject
Ah, that's a good point. It does sound as if a number of people are willing to help out, so there should be people to cover the evenings for us.
no subject
Which is to say, Chisa is still pretty flustered, but she breaks into an even wider smile at his comment. ]
Good! Good, I'll be holding you to that. ♥

The kitchen meets your standards, then? We unfortunately have to establish ourselves more financially before I can afford much renovation, but I want to keep a running list of what is most in need of improvements going forward.

It's fine, it's fine! A little less fancy than some of the places I've worked, but better than the one at Willow. I'm glad for the increased technology, for one! But I've got all I need to take care of things.
no subject
[He'll never take modern comforts for granted ever again! The war already did that to some degree, but advanced technology still provides more workarounds when one or the other thing is out of commission.]
no subject
[ Maybe she doesn't need things, but she likes having them. Mostly at this moment, though, she's remembering that heatwave in Koriko and being glad for fans and air conditioning. ]
I like these tablets better than the way we had to pass notes in Koriko too.

no subject
[ She's so excited about that. She's wanted something like that for years, and so what if it's bigger than she'd initially imagined it? A home can be a wife and three husbands, sure. ]
We'll make it a good one. The best one! [ Better than the ultimate, dare she say. ]
no subject
[He plans to be more on the organizational side than the actual farming side, anyway,]
no subject
Probably not anything yet... ah, maybe fish food...?
no subject
[To eat, he assumes. Not a bad idea, but he knows even less about fish farming than he does about regular farming.]
no subject
[ She presses the tips of her index fingers together, cheeks puffing. ]
I kind of went a little wild at one of the booths, and I caught some fish...
no subject
[Because when she looks like that and says she went a "little wild", for their standards, it sounds like they have 50 fish now. And that's probably okay but?!]
no subject
But, um, they're kind of big... I don't know what to feed them regularly so I've been feeding them leftovers, so they're sort of getting kind of...
[ She gestures a little, vaguely. It's like a vaguely fish-shaped gesture, only maybe about the size of a large cat at this point. ]
I mean they might be getting too big for the pond right now. [ Oops. ]
no subject
—We could dig a new artificial pond, but we'd need to account for proper management of the water, and of course that would be taking land away from any other projects we may have had in mind. If we want to keep them, we'll need to consult about the proper standards and dimensions, and their proper upkeep, before starting the project. For the time being, don't feed them any more leftovers. Fish can survive for some time without food, and there are natural sources of food for them available. If they lose weight that way, perhaps we won't need to move them at all.
[Luckily, in his way, and in a way that is probably true in the DR universe and probably true here too, he believes that the lovely Ultimate Housekeeper's Ultimate home cooking could never be poisonous to the fish or their habitat in any way. The concern is purely spatial.]
