Action/Text: Who's that Pokémon?
Arrival.
[The bus pulls up, but its rider doesn't step off to join the valley community. He floats, simply drifting a few feet away as the doors shut behind him and the bus roars off.]
[Well. That hadn't been so bad. Nerve-wracking, prepared for betrayal at any second, ready to crush the bus and its occupants had its destination been even slightly other than promised... but so far, all had proceeded according to the plan he'd been given.]
[...Perhaps the boy's example had not been unique. Perhaps not every human is treacherous, traitorous, self-centered, and all too eager to enslave those they considered lessers.]
[Just most of them.]
[Mewtwo splays one hand, and in a flare of psychic light, his tablet rises to hover above it. There is supposed to be a map...]
Homecoming.
[This farm is not as concealed as he would like. Though it resides within the forest, it is not far enough in for true solitude, and the path that leads to it is a beacon that any could follow. Mewtwo would have to rely on hoping no one came exploring -- or perhaps more serious concerns later.]
[For now, he regards his greenhouse from a position several feet above it. A broken building, but not past salvaging. In fact -- he glances over his shoulder, eyes shining with power, and not far away a small tree rips itself from the ground. Telekinetic force strips off the branches, then splits the wood into planks, which Mewtwo sends hurtling towards the greenhouse with a wave of his hand.]
[Repairing this should be no mean feat.]
Text.
Humankind: I offer you a transaction, by which you shall be judged. Your greenhouses are battered and broken; I will repair them, for a price. That price shall be greater should you require I bring materials. Extend your acceptance of these terms through this device.
[So are they warned, and so shall he test them. Will they deal fairly, or with duplicity and malice?]

Right. They're not here and she is.] Hmmm. Like I said, back home pokemon can't communicate to humans like this. People can, so that makes you a person, right? Well, to me it does anyway.

[Philosophy, aside from nihilism, is not something Mewtwo has dabbled in, and something he has come to realize he must rethink. There is much and more to life than must be understood...]
I'm loving this thread, btw
[Said rayquaza having decided that if y'all've stopped walking to talk, then it's naptime-the-nth in the sun. Tensai and Tsuyoi have flopped down beside the legendary, watching both Mewtwo and Saeko, who's... having a bit of a rant. Opps?] But that doesn't mean they speak like a person and I'd love it if they could, because it would make things a lot easier! But they can't! They don't have that level of intelligence as far as I know. It doesn't mean they're not intelligent either, because they are. It's just not human level smart though I think that might change, because we're discovering new things about pokemon all the time.
You are very much human-level intelligent, so you're a person. [She sighs.] Look, I've only got a limited understanding of this subject, so... I-I don't know what else I should say.

[He shoots a glance at her Pokémon, wondering what they thought of all this. Though at her last words, he shakes his head slightly.]
I asked for your thoughts. They are of value to me. Until recently, I did not believe humans and Pokémon could ever be friends. You are more proof that I was wrong... and that the Pokémon who believe it as well are not weak, or inferior.

Thanks. We can get stronger still, but... Well. It's better that we don't. Not right now. [For all she seems to puff in pride (echoed by her pokemon, especially the absol) her eyes flick to Tsuyoi with more than a bit of apprehension. Then it's gone.] What does friendship mean to you, Mewtwo-san?

[A particularly good question.]
[One to which he has a partial answer, at least.]
Partnership. Equality.
[What humans had at first denied him.]

[She paused, and her nose wrinkles a bit.] I sound like Dad.

[But such things are not necessary. That is a lesson he learned, and must remember -- that his life had the value he made it have, not what was assigned to it based on the circumstances of his birth.]

[:T! But, that's actually the perfect segway into why she wants her greenhouse fixed: the rare berry-fruits she brought with her: engima, starf, lansat, and apicot. Plus her other berries, but mostly them.]
But, he did give me some really rare berry-fruits. Do you know nazo fruit is?
no subject
My knowledge of berries is lacking. My studies into the field of biology did not encompass that field.
[Since it had been all about cloning instead.]

[She cocks her head, then grins.] If you want, I can write what I know about them down for you and give you most of the first harvest of those I plant?
no subject
An intriguing proposition. This would be suitable repayment for my services. Advancing my own knowledge is a valuable goal.

[She shrugs.] I don't mind, and it's your choice.
((OOC: By now, Mewtwo should have gotten the write up at the start, along with berries that are fancy coded, with the rest to come by the end of the year because some of the growing times are Long e_e))

[He'd built an entire castle-slash-lab complex along with numerous complex machines, after all. Accomplishing great things is simple with telekinesis.]

[She honestly means well.
Plus, it's not like she has much use for Hoenn's Brand Name max ether here.]

[Perhaps because of his genetic modifications, Mewtwo has indeed never truly felt himself to have exhausted himself with exertion. Even in battle with Mew, and suppressing the abilities of all the clones in the area, he had not even begun to feel tired.]
