Action/Text: Who's that Pokémon?
Arrival.
[The bus pulls up, but its rider doesn't step off to join the valley community. He floats, simply drifting a few feet away as the doors shut behind him and the bus roars off.]
[Well. That hadn't been so bad. Nerve-wracking, prepared for betrayal at any second, ready to crush the bus and its occupants had its destination been even slightly other than promised... but so far, all had proceeded according to the plan he'd been given.]
[...Perhaps the boy's example had not been unique. Perhaps not every human is treacherous, traitorous, self-centered, and all too eager to enslave those they considered lessers.]
[Just most of them.]
[Mewtwo splays one hand, and in a flare of psychic light, his tablet rises to hover above it. There is supposed to be a map...]
Homecoming.
[This farm is not as concealed as he would like. Though it resides within the forest, it is not far enough in for true solitude, and the path that leads to it is a beacon that any could follow. Mewtwo would have to rely on hoping no one came exploring -- or perhaps more serious concerns later.]
[For now, he regards his greenhouse from a position several feet above it. A broken building, but not past salvaging. In fact -- he glances over his shoulder, eyes shining with power, and not far away a small tree rips itself from the ground. Telekinetic force strips off the branches, then splits the wood into planks, which Mewtwo sends hurtling towards the greenhouse with a wave of his hand.]
[Repairing this should be no mean feat.]
Text.
Humankind: I offer you a transaction, by which you shall be judged. Your greenhouses are battered and broken; I will repair them, for a price. That price shall be greater should you require I bring materials. Extend your acceptance of these terms through this device.
[So are they warned, and so shall he test them. Will they deal fairly, or with duplicity and malice?]

Are there other Pokémon capable of using these devices?
Perhaps I have been too hasty. On reconsideration, that Meowth did seem as if could perhaps manipulate this means of communication, even communicate in the human language.
no subject
Maybe? No one told me pokemon [How do you make the 'e' with the little mark over it? Cehd'ra tries way too long to figure it out before just giving up...] could read and write.
Theres more than humans and pokemon here though.

What more is there?
no subject
Are you going to judge us all the same?

[Communicating by text is fortunate, because the emphasis his mind puts on that question might be a little headache-inducing in person.]
Video;
...so, I'm one example. We're all of the spoken races. People with a language that sets us apart from beasts. I didn't know Pokémon were spoken as well...that's my mistake.
[Probably a good thing he hasn't managed to catch one yet. That'd be awkward.]
text 4eva
You are a cross between human and Pokémon.
Are you a genetic experiment?
[Mewtwo you can't just ask people that]

I said I was miqo'te. I look like my parents who look like their parents and so on...I'm not a halfbreed.

[That is... strangely hopeful. Not to him personally, but overall -- that creatures like him could grow to be a part of the world and welcomed, no matter their origin.]

[Over the text it's hard to guess what's really going on on the other end, what the person he's talking to is thinking or feeling. Right now it sounds a lot like he or she is just curious but the whole line of questions makes him wonder...]
What about Pokémon, then? I've heard a little, that people catch and train them...no one told me they knew speech.
[That makes it awkward, doesn't it?]
no subject
[Disturbing.]
Pokémon understand human speech well enough. Speaking it is rarer. Your education on them is woefully limited, but typical of humankind. 'Catch and train' is all most humans think to do with us.
no subject
Right now he's very glad he hasn't been able to so far.]
Understanding is enough. No one told me...
[There's a difference between memorizing commands and understanding a language, if what Mewtwo says is true then Pokémon fall into the latter.]
Is this not common knowledge? Why are they treated as beasts?

[And there's some of the old anger, some of the old pain. Creators who care nothing for their creations. Arrogant tyrants who feel all others are below them. Fools who believe a clone deserves no respect!]
[...Most of them. Not all of them.]
Of most humans.
