Well, at least this thing doesn't make me choose an alias. [ There's a hint of wry relief in that statement. As she speaks and moves the camera around, it would become apparent that her clothes don't fit her too well--they're pretty loose. And somewhat tattered.

Especially the trailing ends of what appears to be a huge pink bow sneaking out from under her dark purple jacket--which is still closed up despite the heat. ]

Hello, everyone! My name is Sheena Fujibayashi, and I just arrived here! What was that thing, anyway? There wasn't anything like that where I was last, though it kinda looked like an EC. [ Yep, has no idea what a bus is, but can handle the jPad like a pro. ] I'm not too sure about what exactly is going on, but I guess I have a farm now?

[ And she'll just point over her shoulder. ]

I've never run a farm--though I did help with the herb patches back in Mizuho! So, I can definitely grow plants. [ She's kind of wistful about that--like she hasn't seen a plant for a long time. ] I'm not sure where to start, though. Any advice?

[ She starts thanking everyone but stops. ]

Oh. One more thing. I guess we can leave any time? But do you know if we go back home or to the very last place we were?

Which might not be true on his end, but is true on hers.

Still, she instinctively reacts not to his tone, but to his words--surprising herself because she's not feeling any fear right now. Because what's he going to do? Kill her?

...I suppose not. [Her answer his enough to deflate his act slightly, but he still makes an attempt, due to the part of him that's unwilling to drop it completely just yet.] You'd still do well to mind your own business.

And she's just going to put his thought into words. ]

[ Sudden anger deflation to be replaced by pure curiosity and confusion. ]

[He's not sure why he expected her to not call him out, but he sure has played himself by having that expectation. ...he can still salvage this. He's been playing this role for thousands of years.]

[ Her eyes narrow shrewdly. ]

Since when do you care so much about my motives anyway, summoner? I have no intention of starting anything here, so you don't need to bother if that's why. You don't need to act as if you care. [He very much wants her to care.]

[ And Sheena's just going to answer that with an "oh brother" expression. ]

What? [ Sheena shakes her head. ] You haven't figured it out, have you? I do care Mithos; I always have. If I thought you were up to something, or going to start something, don't you think I would have warned you not to do so long before now?

[ She's using logic, Mithos. She's serious. ]

[He bites back a sigh. Maybe pretending he's someone he only is by a technicality isn't the best way to tackle this situation in the long run.

But how does he even approach the truth when it comes to Sheena? With everyone else it had been so easy (no, not easy, he just broke down easier upon seeing them), because most of the alternate versions of people he knows that he's run into are people he has closer connections to. Sheena's... an acquaintance he happens to be a little fond of. Even coming out and saying it feels wrong.]

[ She gives him an encouraging smile.

She can tell he's still wary with her, so maybe it's time she told him the truth. ]

Mithos...I can tell there's something wrong. Would it help you to know that I know? [ A beat. ]

[She knows. While that means he doesn't need to take care in how he approaches the subject after all, it doesn't exactly lend to him knowing how to handle it.]

[ She smiles and shakes her head. So, he's still going to act that way, huh? Maybe he'll figure out he can tell her anything over time. ]

Honestly? Simply because you contacted me, and you weren't acting like I'm used to.

[ A beat. ]

[But at least he's beginning to feel more comfortable slipping into how he was around his Sheena -- he sounds more exasperated than anything else.]

To be fair, I should expect that from you already. You and Lloyd were always handfuls, to put it kindly.

[ She means it, though her brows crinkle at his tone of voice. It sounds awfully familiar... ]

"Handfuls"? What do you mean by that?

[ Nope. She's not angry. Just because she tends to go running off into danger without thinking doesn't mean a thing. ]

We're talking about you and Lloyd. What do you think it means?

[While he sounds slightly more playful when he says it, it's accompanied by a no-nonsense sort of edge to it, something he picked up from Kratos and a tone he used numerous times while traveling with Lloyd's group.]

[ Hmmm... Well she did have a crush on Lloyd, but he couldn't be referring to anything like that, so... ]
