I think I can consider myself settled.
[ She’s cleared out the weeds and dealt with the monsters that have been going bump in the night — that counts, right? ]
It IS hot! Some days a little too much for someone who’s spent most of her childhood up in the mountains.
But the farm life is something I can get used to. I just have to figure out what to do next, exactly.
How is your interior decorating coming along?

I did a lot of painting over the walls, and I'm debating whether I should put up wallpaper in some of the rooms. That requires a lot of glue, and I wonder if I should just stick to paint.
I think farm life have it's challenges. I gave growing some summer crops a try. It was so hot that I have to remember to water them on time or else the heat will make the vegetables and fruits dried up and wither.
Did you spent your time in the mountains? What was that like?

yetwhere she's from. ]Our city was practically carved out the side of a mountain. A strategic location for a militaristic people. [ But it didn't turn out to be quite as strategic, after all. It's still a bit of a sore point, how their city had so easily been destroyed by the invaders. ] It was always cold. It made people cold, too.

I see...where I'm from, it was a big city. Rome was an ancient city where much of the buildings from the ancient era was still intact. Rome has a lot of hills. Concerning the weather, the weather tends to be fair, almost the same climate as the valley here.
