SILAS
Hi, Silas. Is your voice back yet?
I can’t thank you enough for healing me.
SASUKE
This chocolate is SO good!
Thank you, Mr. Sasuke!
ABEL
How are you, Father Abel?
CIEL
Hi, Ciel. It’s Fia.
It was nice meeting you during the festival.
KYOUSUKE
No paperwork for me yet, Sheriff?

You taught me about chocolate, so let's call it even.
Have you gotten settled in?
text
Settled, yes. Started working on my farm? No.
I don’t know what to do with it. I only cleared out the weeds so far.
And, well, fought a bunch of monsters.
text;
I think I can consider myself settled.
[ She’s cleared out the weeds and dealt with the monsters that have been going bump in the night — that counts, right? ]
It IS hot! Some days a little too much for someone who’s spent most of her childhood up in the mountains.
But the farm life is something I can get used to. I just have to figure out what to do next, exactly.
How is your interior decorating coming along?
text
Mine's not much better, but then again, I don't mind forests. Why put in the effort if I'm not bothered by it, you know?
Fighting monsters are a lot more fun.

You found your tablet. I'm glad.
It was nice meeting you as well.
no subject
Perhaps one day we can meet again under better circumstances. Last time was terribly inconvenient for you.
text
I did see strange-looking ones, though. They were too cute to fight. If my sister was here, she’d probably take one of them home.
[ She means Pokémon. She has no idea you gotta catch them all — yet! ]
text;
I did a lot of painting over the walls, and I'm debating whether I should put up wallpaper in some of the rooms. That requires a lot of glue, and I wonder if I should just stick to paint.
I think farm life have it's challenges. I gave growing some summer crops a try. It was so hot that I have to remember to water them on time or else the heat will make the vegetables and fruits dried up and wither.
Did you spent your time in the mountains? What was that like?
no subject
[His hand would be waving dismissively if they were in person.]
Nonsense. The real inconvenience would have been if we found no way of communicating at all. I'll be glad when we can meet up again though.
text
[ Sasuke has a soft spot for animals. ]
TEXT (BELATEDLY,)
Are you finding yourself short of things to do?
text;
[ They don't have wallpaper
yetwhere she's from. ]Our city was practically carved out the side of a mountain. A strategic location for a militaristic people. [ But it didn't turn out to be quite as strategic, after all. It's still a bit of a sore point, how their city had so easily been destroyed by the invaders. ] It was always cold. It made people cold, too.

That would be lovely. Perhaps you would like to train? Or ride?
[ She may have a little crush on you, Ciel. Teehee. ]
text
And they were very colorful!
TEXT
[ It seems to be the end of her message, but a minute later, she sends another text. ]
Has anyone else reported running into someone they know, sir? But that someone doesn’t know them, because they’re from a different time?
text
[ Like his crow familiar, Mr. Tori. Completely adorable to Sasuke, but enemies beware. ]
no subject
You've horses?
[Oh no, how do crushes work?]
TEXT
I haven't here. But I experienced it before, in another place I lived.
text;
I see...where I'm from, it was a big city. Rome was an ancient city where much of the buildings from the ancient era was still intact. Rome has a lot of hills. Concerning the weather, the weather tends to be fair, almost the same climate as the valley here.
