[ For the moment, she doesn't have much of an idea of what to grow other than flowers, maybe a few crops here and there, but that on its own is still too vague. If she asks everyone else, maybe that'll give her an idea! ]
Bit of a weird question I guess, but what would you say is your favorite flower? It doesn't have to be a flower either. Any plant will do. [ She pauses, suddenly considering something. ] As long as it isn't poisonous, I guess.
[ Last thing she needs is to grow poison ivy or something. She can already spot some of that on a tree not far away. ]
[action]
[ Like many new farmers, Aerith's first task is to take to her field and clean it up. It's not something she'd complain about aloud, but the chore is still, well, just that. A chore. She'd rather not do it at all, especially with all the rocks littering the way. It seems like every time she turns around, there's another rock! Or a twig.
Or, in the case of her newest find, an entire downed log. Good lord, how long has that been there?
Yeah, she'll definitely have to get some help from one of her neighbors. But that's not so much of a problem! If anything, she welcomes the temporary reprieve and takes to the road back to town to see if she can catch the attention of a passerby. ]
Hey there, would you mind helping me out a bit at my lot? I don't have much to pay you with for the moment, but I can make you tea or something like that.

Okay... [He lumbers over until he's close enough to talk to her, but not so much that he's right up in her face.] Help with...?

[ There's no hesitation in that; the answer comes loud and clear almost before the clarification is finished. ]
The pink ones are the best, but I like the white ones too... ah, and there's also these really nice orange-cream ones, those are good too! And then red, and sometimes they're yellow, and--
[ And basically, every peony color that she can remember ever seeing. ]

Now my turn. What is your favorite fruit?
[Hey if they're going to play getting to know you questions, she might as well go with the ones that'll be useful to a woman getting an orchard up and running.]

[ Hello yes, I would love to share my favorite flowers with you!!!! ]
And Tiger Lillies! But mostly sunflowers. Oh goodness, they get so tall and big, and in the breeze, they wave at you! I could never grow them on my balconey, but oh I wish I could...
[ YOU CAN NOW RAPUNZEL... ]

Aerith?
[ She waits for a hint of recognition on the other's face; when none comes, she sighs softly. ]
Sorry. I... I knew an Aerith, before. She looked and talked exactly like you, but well, you know, the whole alternate universes thing.

[It's actually rather tame, in his opinion.]
There's a wildflower that grows back where I'm from that grows out in the Sorlian badlands. Don't know what it's officially called, but most people call it a Daring Blue. It's this blue flower that somehow adapted to live in a dry, arid climate. I guess that'd be my favorite if I to pick one, if only because its reputation for durability and survival.
[And after giving his more serious answer, he smiles a little wryly as he continues.]
Favorite plant, though? I'd say barley, hops, and coffee beans.

Ah— tea would be fine. [ she chuckles, a little sheepish. ] I would be happy to help regardless, to tell you the truth, but I do have a weakness for tea.
