[ For the moment, she doesn't have much of an idea of what to grow other than flowers, maybe a few crops here and there, but that on its own is still too vague. If she asks everyone else, maybe that'll give her an idea! ]
Bit of a weird question I guess, but what would you say is your favorite flower? It doesn't have to be a flower either. Any plant will do. [ She pauses, suddenly considering something. ] As long as it isn't poisonous, I guess.
[ Last thing she needs is to grow poison ivy or something. She can already spot some of that on a tree not far away. ]
[action]
[ Like many new farmers, Aerith's first task is to take to her field and clean it up. It's not something she'd complain about aloud, but the chore is still, well, just that. A chore. She'd rather not do it at all, especially with all the rocks littering the way. It seems like every time she turns around, there's another rock! Or a twig.
Or, in the case of her newest find, an entire downed log. Good lord, how long has that been there?
Yeah, she'll definitely have to get some help from one of her neighbors. But that's not so much of a problem! If anything, she welcomes the temporary reprieve and takes to the road back to town to see if she can catch the attention of a passerby. ]
Hey there, would you mind helping me out a bit at my lot? I don't have much to pay you with for the moment, but I can make you tea or something like that.

[Wait wait wait. Wasn't it too personal? She awkwardly coughs for a bit.]
Ah, that was a rude question. Sorry!
[Voice]
The world has no problem letting flowers bloom, but the city I lived in... [ Her tone takes a bit of a turn toward being more serious. ] The city is a different story. There's nothing but wasteland around it for miles before the grass starts growing again.
[Voice]
...and life in the city? What was it like?
[Voice]
It was the kind of life that made me who I am. [ Spoken with a noncommittal shrug and a smile to suit it. It doesn't strike her right away that such a gesture can't be seen. ] And, for better or for worse, I don't regret the person I am.
[Voice]
['Lucky.' is what she really wanted to say. To admit such a thing in earnest? Though a tiny part of her feels a tad envious, it's honestly admirable.
But, learning about each other's lives is not for here, not right now at least. Heck, she just met her (in a sense, if voice chat counts) anyway! Time to change the subject.]
Oh! Do you need help sowing some seeds? I'm not doing much today, so I could come over if you'd like.
[Voice]
I might need help later, but to tell the truth... [ She laughs nervously. ] I haven't even tilled the land yet. Still trying to get it cleared.
