[ For the moment, she doesn't have much of an idea of what to grow other than flowers, maybe a few crops here and there, but that on its own is still too vague. If she asks everyone else, maybe that'll give her an idea! ]

Bit of a weird question I guess, but what would you say is your favorite flower? It doesn't have to be a flower either. Any plant will do. [ She pauses, suddenly considering something. ] As long as it isn't poisonous, I guess.

[ Last thing she needs is to grow poison ivy or something. She can already spot some of that on a tree not far away. ]

[ Like many new farmers, Aerith's first task is to take to her field and clean it up. It's not something she'd complain about aloud, but the chore is still, well, just that. A chore. She'd rather not do it at all, especially with all the rocks littering the way. It seems like every time she turns around, there's another rock! Or a twig.

Or, in the case of her newest find, an entire downed log. Good lord, how long has that been there?

Yeah, she'll definitely have to get some help from one of her neighbors. But that's not so much of a problem! If anything, she welcomes the temporary reprieve and takes to the road back to town to see if she can catch the attention of a passerby. ]

Hey there, would you mind helping me out a bit at my lot? I don't have much to pay you with for the moment, but I can make you tea or something like that.

[Is she ready to show off? Of course. She was born ready. Holding the jPad as far from her as she can, as if preparing to take a selfie, Faith holds her free hand close to her face. She concentrates for a moment, a faint green ball of light appearing in her hand. In only a few seconds, that ball of light turns into a bright flash, and once it dies down there's a daisy in Faith's hand.]

Ta da~!

[ Aerith watches intently, and the flash of magic has her leaning back a bit from her own screen. There's a lot more magic out there than just materia, it seems! ]

That's wonderful! How did you do that?

[That is the kind of reaction that fills Faith's heart with joy!]

I'm what my world calls an elemental! An earth elemental, to be exact. I can create and manipulate plant life and small rocks, as well as heal people!

[ Well gosh doesn't that sound familiar? Enough so that she's giggling a bit and nodding along. The worlds are vast indeed. ]

Good abilities to have! I'm a little jealous myself. If I could make plants spring up that fast, spreading flowers all over Midgar would've been much easier.

[She can't help but giggle herself, but something Aerith says catches her curiosity.]

Midgar? Is that where you're from?

It is. It's a really big city.

[ It's kinda dark, a little gloomy, and the electricity is full of dead people. ]

[If only she knew. Maybe if she did, she wouldn't follow up with this question:]

What's it like?

It's...well, it's a city. It's very crowded, there are a lot of people, and... [ She laughs nervously, but keeps it as subdued as she can. ] It's not a very happy place. At least...not from what I've seen.

[That's enough to make the smile leave her face.]

Oh... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring up something bad. I just get really overexcited when I think about hearing about other people's worlds.

Oh, no, don't worry about it! The city wasn't really the best spot to be in, but the people I met there were mostly very kind. The rest of the world was lovely though.

I'm glad you could meet such kind people there, then! [A small pause.] So if the rest of the world is lovely, do you mind telling me what it's like?

[Her curiosity cannot be tamed.]

There's a lot to tell for just one sitting, I think. A lot of it was very green, with thick forests, vast grassland, tall mountains, and you'd find cute villages all over!

Ooh... [Even being told that much has Faith all wide-eyed.] That sounds lovely! Especially the villages. I haven't really seen many of those myself -- even here's a bit more rural than I'm used to!

[And she loves it, to be honest.]
