Enter the former Vault Dwellers - Joint Action with [personal profile] warneverchanged - OPEN

The bus ride had been a very interesting one. She still wasn't sure what was going on, but she noticed that she wasn't the only one with a Vault suit and Pip Boy on. Though the other woman's was a different model than her own.

The conversation had started off simply. "Vault 111? I'm from 101." And it went on from there. They discussed the differences in the vaults and the lands around the vaults. They had a lot more in common than she realized at first.

When the bus stopped, the two former vault dwellers climbed off and looked around. The Lone Wanderer was stunned. She had never seen so much green before. Not even Oasis had this much green. At least she didn't have to deal with the Treeminders.

"So...is this what the world looked like before the bombs dropped?" she asked the older woman, still staring at everything. Unlike Nora, she hadn't been born before the war. She had only known life in a vault before she was pretty much evicted and forced into the Capital Wasteland.

[OOC: This is an intro for both The Lone Wanderer and Sole Survivor. Feel free to tag one or both of the women!]

"Oh! Well you see, I arranged an ambush for my Courier friend. They were carrying a Platinum Chip that Benny waned. Benny, you see, was the man who had me hacked and reprogrammed. Anyway, I set up the ambush and Benny shot the Courier in the head twice! Bang bang! But the Courier survived! They made it all the way to New Vegas and we got to meet. I feel bed about how happy I used to be for setting them up like that. But now we're friends and everything is a-okay. I helped the Courier secure New Vegas for him and me! Now we run the city together. It's very nice."

"...Interesting."

That was definitely some story, and it put her on edge because hearing of being set up reminded her of certain things she'd dealt with.

"But, you're not in the business of setting people up anymore, are you?"
notjustbecauseihaveto: (Well hello now~)

"Oh no! At least, not without being told you. I can't say no, you see. It's in my programming. So if you want me to set up someone like that, I will if you tell me to. That's just how it goes. Cooky, huh?" The robot said it all nonchalantly. Either he didn't or couldn't care about his lack of freewill.
