[It has been a few weeks since he arrived in Starhue Valley and surprisingly, Augustine managed to adapt to his new surroundings thanks to his constant run-ins with several phenomena back home. Ever since then, he not only settled in his new farmhouse, but also met some nice folks as he wanders around Pelican Town to truly get the feel of this rustic lifestyle.

However, as he is about to go back home after touring around town, Augustine suddenly fell onto his knees, which he drops his jPad from his hands. Anyone passing by may see him clutching his head in pain.

Unknown to them, Augustine suddenly has a sudden surge of new, but short visions from his past life memories. To his surprise, he not only hears them in these new memories but the names of the people that he met.

When the memories dispersed, he opens his eyes and finds himself still clutching his head, now gasping at what he saw.]

W-What happened? Did I fell unconscious?

Other than I need to lower my stress levels to avoid another migraine, I think I'm okay.

[Augustine's smile then turns into a frown as he looks at his phone.]

But I still can't believe Retrospec uninstalled from my phone.

There has to be someone who knows what happened to you...Maybe you could do what I did and pin a notice to the message board. That way if anyone knows about Retrospec they may be able to tell you what happened.

...If only there was some way of finding that out now.

That might not be easy. Like I said, if the app is inaccessible for me, then that means I'm banished from it. Even returning to Recolle may cause my memories related to Retrospec to be erased.

Besides, even if they have the same app in here, I wouldn't able to see it since I'm not one of the Retrospec users anymore.

[She gives a worrisome look and glances offways, It's irritating not knowing how to help him when she's having issues with her own memories]

...Well what things do you remember? I mean you seem to be more aware of things going on than I do.

You don't think that it's some sort of coincidence that we both happened to be dealing with this kind of thing, do you? It might be connected somehow.

[And unbeknownst to her if she did manage to accidentally screw someone's memory the same way she wound up accidentally messing her own up then a certain relative back home may be very concerned about her welfare if she's able to keep doing stuff like that.]

[He takes a few seconds to try to remember more about Recolle.]

So far, I can still remember them all, especially those strange phenomena happening to the city.

[He can also remember some people he met there such as May and Togusa. Which reminds him, he wonders if they are okay back in Recolle.]

I still also have my past life's memories, so it looks like I'm safe from the effects of Retrospec's banishment. It might be because I'm in Starhue Valley when it happened?

That could be it...[Which also means there's a possibility she lost her memories in the same way.]

Um... Yes...

From what I remembered, I was actually someone named Augustine Sycamore, the name I've mentioned before. The only similarities are our first names, but the difference is that he lived in a world where supernatural creatures called Pokemon exists.

Being two people at once...that kind of sounds like something I remember.

[She sighs and leans over resting her chin in her hands.]

Yes. And considering that previous pain I felt, I feel it's starting to clash with my current identity right now.

Though I doubt I'm ready to go back to that person just yet.

[Vi nods again.] Hmmm...

Wait! Earlier you called out for someone...This Ash guy? Maybe he's important to all of this.

[Now that he thinks about it, he suddenly said that name before he recovers.]

It could be, but whoever this person is, I doubt I can find him here.

We could try looking for him at least...

Do you remember what he looks like?

[He thinks about it for a few seconds before nodding at Vi.]

I'm afraid not. I can only remember the name, not their face exactly.

[She looks to her new friend curiously, it seems strange that the two of them are in this sort of mess but here they were. All they could do for now is just deal with things and accept them as they are but deep down Vi doesn't want to. It doesn't seem right not to try and at least work out what had happened.

Almost as if it was yet another second nature to her to go snooping around and getting herself into trouble.]

...I wonder if anyone misses us.

Probably my parents and my colleagues back home. Though I wished I can contact them from here to let them know I'm okay.

[Which he doubts it considering the connection troubles back in Recolle.]

Still, that doesn't mean I'm alone here.

Apart from the few friends I've made here I'm beginning to think that maybe I am...

[She glances offwards and furrows her brows. She would give anything just to have some sort of clue as to who she actually is and why she's here.]

O-Oh... I'm sorry to hear that.

[He almost forgets that she has amnesia.]

But don't worry about it. If you meet some unique friends with your same tastes, maybe you won't feel alone here.

[As if on cue, a dragon Pokemon pops out of her Poke Ball, growling at her owner.]

O-Oh... Modeste! How did you get out of your Poke Ball again?

[She didn't want to answer that as she still cares about Augustine's wellbeing.]

[The creature startles her at first, but seeing as Augustine doesn't seem too worried about the strange looking creature she calms down.

But regardless of all that. The dragon actually puts a smile on her face.]

Oh, who's this? A friend of yours?

[megabond]

[Realizing that Vi is still here, he would have reacted in shock as she wasn't supposed to appear in front of a stranger. Though, he sighs in relief when she smiles.]

Why yes. This is Modeste, she's a dragon Pokemon that I got from Retrospec. From what I remembered, she was formerly owned by Sycamore and recently, I learned that she is a Garchomp, a Dragon and Ground-type, I think...

[Well, that's what Lusamine explained to him before. Regardless, Modeste waves her claw as she growls happily at the stranger.]

Well, how do you do, Modeste.

[She comes closer to the Pokemon and gently reaches out to pet her nose.] So you're one of those Pokemon your friend told me about... heh, it's nice to meet you.

[Yay, snout rubs! It's been a long time for Modeste to have one, so she lets her continue petting her snout.]

Guess she is starting to take a liking of you.

[whitescalesbigmouth]

...You said she's a dragon type right?

[She's ever so gentle with her, Almost as if they've been friends for a long time. There's a mutual respect there and Vi certainly seems to be comfortable enough around her despite the ferocious look of her.]

[Augustine raises his eyebrow as his dragon continues to snuggle.]

Well, that's what this woman told me about Modeste. Why?

[She shakes her head, her attention is entirely on Modeste for the time being.]

No reason.

[She smiles at Modeste.] I hope we can be good friends too, Modeste?

[Modeste replies with a happy growl.]

Looks like Modeste wants to be friends with you as well.
