1st Bond [Action]

[It has been a few weeks since he arrived in Starhue Valley and surprisingly, Augustine managed to adapt to his new surroundings thanks to his constant run-ins with several phenomena back home. Ever since then, he not only settled in his new farmhouse, but also met some nice folks as he wanders around Pelican Town to truly get the feel of this rustic lifestyle.

However, as he is about to go back home after touring around town, Augustine suddenly fell onto his knees, which he drops his jPad from his hands. Anyone passing by may see him clutching his head in pain.

Unknown to them, Augustine suddenly has a sudden surge of new, but short visions from his past life memories. To his surprise, he not only hears them in these new memories but the names of the people that he met.

When the memories dispersed, he opens his eyes and finds himself still clutching his head, now gasping at what he saw.]

W-What happened? Did I fell unconscious?

[Seeing someone topple over like that, esecially a much older person causes this certain girl to react accordingly and rush over to his aid placing her hands on his shoulders It seems strange that even with no memories of who she is or what she's supposed to be doing here every time she's seen someone in need of help she automatically goes straight to it almost as if it's second nature to her.]

Oh my gosh... Sir, are you alright? I saw you fall from a few feet away and--!

[Upon seeing a young woman by his side, he realizes what happened as he looks around before turning his attention to the woman.]

I-I'm alright... But...

[He tries to stand up, but he then remembers what he saw as his eyes widen.]

A-Ash! W-Where is he?!

[whitescalesbigmouth]

Ash? I'm sorry I don't know any Ash....

[She steadies him noticing that the man's trying to get to his feet.]

I don't really know much about anyone or myself.

[Augustine realizes what he said as he scratches his head.]

N-No... I should be sorry, I didn't realize what I was saying back there.

[whitescalesbigmouth]

You don't have to apologise, but will you be okay...? I can take you to the clinic if you want.

[megabond]

[He would shrug it off, but considering his sudden migraine, it might be the best.]

I'm alright. But I feel I should visit there just in case.

[whitescalesbigmouth]

[She gives an affirmative nod. Scrooge helped her when she first arrived so it's only right she should return the same attitude towards someone else in need of help.]

Uhm...this is going to sound like a really strange question but can I just ask if you happen to know or recognise me at all?

[He looks at the young woman upon asking her question. But after a few seconds, he nods to her.]

I'm afraid not. If I do have memories of you, I would have easily recognized you.

[Then again...]

Although, you would happen to live in Recolle?

Recolle?

[Nope, doesn't sound familiar, sorry.]

I-I don't know...It's bad enough not even having a name right now...at least if I did I could at least try and build up some kind of identity.

Identity? You mean you don't know who you really are?

[whitescalesbigmouth]

[She shakes her head.] No, nothing just... that I wound up here somehow. I've already spoken with the doctor and a few of the people here but no one seems to know me.

I even put up a message up on the notice board but so far no one's said anything. So I'm just trying to work out what I can do until my memory comes back...

That is if I even had any memories to begin with.

But you still have a name, right?

[Nope. She can't even remember that.]

[Well, this is going to be a problem.]

Hmmm... How about should I give you a temporary name until you remember your real one?

Well I guess I can't go without a name...I mean it's something everyone has, right?

[He then takes a few seconds to think of a name until he came up with one.]

You have a beautiful purple hair and green eyes, so what about "Violet Verti"?

Well it sounds a little strange...but I can't really argue with you. [She chuckles.] I culd be in the same boat as that poor owl of Aurora's.

You know what? No it's fine. Violet. Or at least "Vi" I think I can manage with that.

Good to hear. Now that is settled, it is very nice to meet you, Vi.

[Guess that's one problem solved for the amnesiac woman.]

You too, sir. Maybe you should let me know who you are too... you know since we're introducing ourselves!

My name is Professor Augustine Sycamore...

[He would smile after introducing himself. But he suddenly realizes what he said.]



N-No, wait... It's Augustine Sauveterre. Why did I just say that?

[More importantly, why did he introduce himself as his past self that Lusamine mentioned before?]

[Looks like she's not the only person having memory issues here. Augustine sounds like he's probably going to be someone she should stick pretty close by to if there's something kind of strange happening in the valley with people's memories.]

Well, whatever's happened I'm sure we can help each other out. Though I'm still not sure what I should grow on my farm just yet. I thought about flowers but it seems everyone else seems to be doing that. So I thought about maybe limiting myself to maybe just one kind of vegetable...Maybe mushrooms.

If you haven't found anywhere to stay just yet I don't mind letting you take refuge with me, I mean there's plenty of room and I can't help thinking we're both kind of in the same predicament right now.

I-It's alright. I still have my memories, though I feel that it's starting to clash with my past self's memories. Plus, I already got a place to stay. As for the vegetable, I recommend parsnips. Their seeds are cheap to buy and they are easy to tend with.

[Vegetables aside, he frowns as he remembers what happened. He did collapse when he got a migraine, but he doubts it's a normal one.]

Still, that hasn't happened to me before.

Hopefully the doctor can help you then.

[She frowns with concern and looks over him.] How are you feeling now?

[megabond]

I-I'm okay. It's just that... These memories appeared randomly or any action that may relate to it.

But this is the first time I felt a strong migraine when I obtained my memories.

[whitescalesbigmouth]

Well, try to take it easy then...the last thing you want to do is push yourself too hard.

I just wish I knew what I could do to be of more help.
