I think you're someone who doesn't want to get hurt again. You were left behind by family, and maybe even feel sometimes like you deserved it, because of stuff you did wrong. But you don't want to get close to anyone again because you don't want them leaving you too.

But deep down, you want someone to prove you wrong. You want to know that maybe someone would take the risk and stick around. That someone might care after all.
