[Time flies quickly when you're focused on working. But, Rip finally managed to clear most of her land and section out what she wanted for where things went. It wasn't anything fancy.. just log posts marking out plots and signs. A few of them say things like 'Future Apple trees' or 'Future Cherry Trees' . As Rip pans her device around, there's also the start of a rock wall to section off the garden she's started. There were so many rocks... why not?

Eventually, she turns the device on herself with a shy smile and pushes her glasses up. The former huntress turned farmer was sitting on the porch of her home with a houndour puppy sprawled across her lap, napping.]

I finally got everything cleared und marked out. Now, I just haf to fill the land vith vat I vant.

[..There's a lot of cleared land. Though, strangely, there are a lot of oak and a few maple trees surrounding the house, almost hiding it on view as if on purpose. And there might be a rather monstrously large log pile next to the house. Yes...she did it all herself. Rip kind of kept working nearly non stop up until this point.]

Zo, do anyone know a good quick crop I can grow to earn zome money? I'm going to need it for all zhe trees I vant...

[Then she hesitates for a moment before coming to a decision.]

I am alzo a skilled hunter if you need zomeone to get rid of pests on your farm or any hunting done in general.

He took that as a challenge. "...heh. That won't be necessary if I have other business to attend to. After all, if you're serious about this running this farming business, I suggest you take up accounting and check your balances and finances. Running a farm takes the money and check your resources and I'm going to be your manager." And then with a laugh, "If your foot can reach me my rear." Alucard is taller than her by a few inches

Alucard sat on the bed, removed his boots. He's going to take a nap on this bed. "Hmm, now that's uncute, I rather say. I wouldn't mind seeing you wearing a dress or something feminine. I would think bringing you to this farm would make you change your mind and you'll work on your sweeter self."

Showing affection, he wrapped his arms around her to pull her into his embrace. "Come here Rip. I longed to hold you in my arms." Hnngh, she's quite thin to hold in his arms. "Did the blood bag filled you? You should eat and drink. The hard work requires a lot of energy."

Rip rolled her eyes. Yes, she knew running a farm took more than just working the fields. it took money, resources..and she winced at the idea of having to do the ledgers and accounting. She could learn, she just never thought she'd have to. But, Rip was serious about running her farm the way she wanted...

As for her being more feminine, she gave him a slight look of both annoyance and amusement as she settled into his arms. Yes, she was still thin now, but, that would probably change upon being forced to eat more and the natural way her body would fill out the further along in her pregnancy she got. "I vill think about a dress or two later, but, don't count on it being a daily thing. I'm still very fond of my suits und dress shirts." As for having enough to eat.. she nodded and pressed herself against his chest.

"I got plenty from zhe bloodbag earlier, promise. I'll try to remember to eat more for zhe both of us."

"If you continue to neglect yourself and be buried in your work again..." Though she probably works this hard to strive for a future she can be proud of, considering their pasts are dark and nothing to be proud of. "And let yourself be burned by the sun, I swear, I'll have to do this every day to make sure you're all right in one piece." And that means poor Alucard has to endure the sun for her sake too.

And the thing is, he didn't mind it at this point. At least, they'll be burning together this time. "Good." Well, time for that nap. But not before, he gave her a soft kiss to make her go to sleep. "Sweet dreams, my dear huntress."

He was right, she wanted something she could be proud of instead of the dark past they both had. Rip wanted something that was hers..and that desire fueled itself into this farm and it being more theirs than just hers in the long run. A future that was built on hard work and who knows what else!

She just snorted softly at his determination to keep her safe even from herself and her own self-destructive work habits. "Zhen you may just haf to do zhat~. I never said being my mate vould be easy after all." it was a tease more than a challenge.

As for the kiss, she was happy to receive it as she settled against him with a slight yawn. "Sweet dreams my Dark Hunter...hopefully you vill be here vhen I vake." She rested her head against him as her eyes closed and within a few minutes fell asleep, one of the few rare and peaceful sleeps that often eluded her during the day.

There's a chuckle. "Over the centuries, I learned that I don't like it easy and take things the hard way." He's being honest and candid, and that shows a lot of himself began to trust her.

"I'll be here. If I'm not, it will ignite my passions if you come chasing after me with a gun." But that wouldn't be necessary since for months, they are together side by side, and he's the one who begins to see her frequently, chasing after her, bit by bit...until no guns need to be raised at point blank range. And if he's away, he's away doing business around the valley.

"Hm..." A soft purr, he caressed through her black hair. If they have peaceful days like these, he hoped it never ends, as sleep soon followed with the peaceful quiet darkness in the room.
