[Is this a familiar face? If so, where is the eyepatch?]
I will keep this short and sweet. I am looking for someone named Phantomhive. If you have a lead on where he might be staying, I would be most appreciative.
[A charming smile follows - he is so damn gentlemanly - but there is something off about him; something that is bound to cause unease.]
Beyond that, are you really expecting me to farm? Can I not hire skilled laborers instead?

[Excuse him as he PANICS over his twin being here.]

How do you know your farm will be successful? You don't seem to want to get your hands dirty.
[Neither does the younger twin but he still helps Undertaker where he can, small and weak as he is.]
text
[The other issue is he's not sure his body will hold up doing hard labor.]

I suppose you could share one with another though, as I do with my guardian.

At home, I imagine. Home being what it is here.

Would you mind directing me?
no subject
I suppose I could. Where might you find yourself at this time?
no subject
That is a fine question. [It takes some walking around, but eventually he will give Undertaker an address.]

[Once he has an address, he realizes he knows the general area and is just... there.]
I've done a bit of searching in this small town since I came here, but this is a place I haven't been in a while. Maybe even a few days.

Am I far from both of you? That must be changed.

[ Guess who sensing that unease and LISTENING to it. ]

[He can play this game.]
Re: text
Your reasoning in looking for him, to start with.
text
Re: text
I had assumed that much. Would he not answer you then, without you looking for him?

Hm. So you arrived.
I supposed you can hire skilled laborers if you have a pound of cleverness and be able to afford their loyalty. The higher skilled laborer demands quite a large sum.
I take it you recently arrived and you're now at the bus station?
no subject
[Now he laughs, the sound cold.]
Think again. Undertaker has already collected me.

The butler remained polite and surprisingly made a courtesy bow. As if Ciel's chilly welcome and greeting has absolutely no effect on him. Remaining ever a professional servant.]
The young Master has been looking forward to see you. I shall prepare a spare room shall you make up your mind to retire for the night should you wish to stay with your brother.
[All the butler has to do is make sure there shall spare blankets and pillows. Nights like these tend to be uneventful...]
no subject
[He's watching you, butler. Don't expect him to keep usual hours either. Ciel is likely the first of his kind - whatever he happens to be.
What did you do, Undertaker?]I do want to converse with you, Sebastian.
no subject
What kind of creature Ciel is now? Is he one of those dolls that the demon fought on the ship? What kind of after-death science the reaper has done, the demon doesn't know or have much information on. Reaper science isn't his expertise as the demon knows more of the afterlife variety.
But if the young man before him does pose a real threat, the demon will observe and watching him as well.
The demon is pretty sure what kind of conversation he wants. He's not beyond negotiation.]
There are a time and a place for such a conversation, but that requires an appointment at a later date. For now, I'm sure you're excited and the first step is getting you settled into the valley, my Lord. As I'm preparing dinner now and that room.
no subject
You can't avoid me forever. I will have an appointment with or without advanced permission on your part.
[Deal. with. it.]
