[ Normally, leaving his post for any reason would be unheard of for Mikazuchi. Yet, he can't deny, there's something interesting about the whole thing. Especially this weird video gadget...which has his video feed upside-down. But hey, at least he figured out how it works? And he can somewhat make out the writing to know what's what. ]
A settlement of Onvitaikayan...very, very interesting. [ He has to admit, his interest is piqued. At the very least, he can think of a couple people back with Anju and company who'd be very interested to hear about it. ] Still don't know what half of this Eldscript means.

[ If you happen to be trekking down into the mine, you might find Mikazuchi a ways ahead of you a few floors down. He doesn't seem super bothered by the weaker monsters who go down in one swing of his massive blade, but the slimes in particular seem to be giving him reason to pause. One of the slimes oozes away from him over in your direction, but after charging himself with lightning, pardoning the pun, he gives chase and slams his zanbato into the creature just in time to crush it and vaporize it with his charged sword. ]
Oi...watch yourself. Might get killed if you're not careful. These Tatari are different than usual, but still dangerous. [ Though his expression makes him seem like he's angry, he turns away to cluck his tongue in thought. Honestly, he's just glad the slimes can be killed. The ones in Yamato and Tuskur were much, much worse. ]
