[ Bolormaa is sitting by the river in Cindersap Forest today, her jPad sitting in front of her as she tries to record a professional video. There's a soft yellow fox with multiple tails stretching on her, sometimes twitching. There's also a doll by her side - the only one she'd brought with her. But it's petting the fox - the Carbuncle! ]
Hello! And, um, if we have not met before, well met. My name is Bolormaa Sagahl, and I wish to open up a library here. One which holds books and stories from all of us - to not be forgotten...
But that is not what I wish to talk about today. I have been studying the art of crafting Carbuncle - ah, a magicked creature from my land. I have also been looking into making mechanical helpers known as mammets... and I think I've found a solution for each of my issues.
Using, um, special shards of crystal, I can activate mammets. And then, they power the Carbuncle within... though they are not as cute and cuddly as mine, this allows Carbuncle to be kept and used by those who do not have an innate way to manipulate their aether. I do not know if they can battle, however - I hope not to need to find out...
[ The special shards of crystal? Flakes from her scales, but Bolormaa won't admit that right now. That she's been experimenting with fragments of Hydaelyn. ]
The goods needed to craft them, other then their core, can be... um, found around. If any of you desire a mammet, please get in contact with me - payment shall change depending on what exactly you desire crafted. Or if you simply wish to talk!

But, hold on, are they about to drag Cid? Because he is ever here for that.
"Rude is an understatement to be sure. He attacked me the moment I was off the bus. Really... parallel worlds or not a shoddy engineer will ever be shoddy engineer. You really only need me to make what you need."
And listen, maybe he'll teach her some basics because she just sort of emits a radiance that's hard to just brush away. Sort of like that Warrior of Light. You don't want to like them... but you do.
"It's not that difficult... but if there is something wrong with what you attempted we'll take a long look and see where it went awry."

It's bad. She keeps comparing him to the other him... and Bolormaa shakes her head again, trying to hide her own disappointment at herself. "Her range of movement isn't too good, I must admit. I was not commonly at the Gold Saucer - but isn't there a mammet of you?"
The material here wasn't as easy to craft as manipulating material with crystals - but that was okay. She was enjoying her life, even if she was more occupied with repairing a building...

Oh. Hold on. She's mentioning something slightly vain he did while trying to survive in Eorzea. He needed money. And at the time making mammets of himself seemed like a good idea. That peculiar owner of the Gold Saucer loved his craftsmanship, as he should, and ordered a whole bunch. Why people would want an Imperial general mammet is not entirely known to him but he wasn't there to ask questions.
"Mayhaps..." Yes there is but let's not get into too much detail about. There's adventures out there that have a small version of him running behind them and at the time that seemed hilarious but in hindsight it's a bit disconcerting.
Onto better things.
"I can take a look at your mammet and I'll see if I can get her working proper. It'll only take a moment if you have her on you."
