There's a soft yellow fox with multiple tails stretching on her, sometimes twitching. There's also a doll by her side - the only one she'd brought with her. But it's petting the fox - the Carbuncle! ]

Hello! And, um, if we have not met before, well met. My name is Bolormaa Sagahl, and I wish to open up a library here. One which holds books and stories from all of us - to not be forgotten...

But that is not what I wish to talk about today. I have been studying the art of crafting Carbuncle - ah, a magicked creature from my land. I have also been looking into making mechanical helpers known as mammets... and I think I've found a solution for each of my issues.

Using, um, special shards of crystal, I can activate mammets. And then, they power the Carbuncle within... though they are not as cute and cuddly as mine, this allows Carbuncle to be kept and used by those who do not have an innate way to manipulate their aether. I do not know if they can battle, however - I hope not to need to find out...

[ The special shards of crystal? Flakes from her scales, but Bolormaa won't admit that right now. That she's been experimenting with fragments of Hydaelyn. ]

The goods needed to craft them, other then their core, can be... um, found around. If any of you desire a mammet, please get in contact with me - payment shall change depending on what exactly you desire crafted. Or if you simply wish to talk!

[ Bolormaa reaches over to end the video, before a thought crosses her mind - and she tries to look serious again. ]

[ ...!! When Yda approaches, Bolormaa was sort of. Nuzzling deep into her Carbuncle. So she let out a small yelp! ]

Ah--!! Oh! [ She lets out a small laugh. ] It reminds me of ones I'd see when-- well, when Minfilia was young. So full of life...

[oh no… look at this precious lady, Yda just wants to hold her.]

Oh- you've got all those memories…? Is that weird? [she plops down, reaching out to put a hand on the Carbuncle.]. It definitely is- do you have a name for it…?

...I've learned to deal with it. I was made as a double of Minfilia, after all - splitting from her when Dalamud fell. Of course I have those memories.

[ Is that a little anger? No... it can't be. But then, she laughs. ] B-but, um, I've called my Carbuncle Minfilia. I mean, I'm using a bit of Hydaelyn to sustain her, right?

You were…? That's… it seems hard.

[it does, a bit- and Yda reaches out- just touching her shoulder instead when Bolormaa laughs.] Keeping her with you, huh? Are you? [she leans in, looking at the Carbuncle curiously.]

I told you of how I was made due to a time paradox - but... that's also why. The world needed Minfilia, but I could not be... she could not be returned to the point she had been.

[ It's a sad thing. But then the Carbuncle yips, and Bolormaa is distracted. ] Y-yes. My scales - they've been flaking off, a little. I think it's normal for Au Ra. But since I'm crafted of Hydaelyn, well...

Yeah- you did. That sounded pretty weird, but- it's an important thing, too, right? If… well, clearly they needed the both of you!

[such a good Carbuncle. Yda gives it a little scritch.] I think so! I… wasn't too close most of them shared that with me. …wait, you mean- yours are like crystal flakes?

Au Ra spend most of their time outside of Eorzea, correct? I'd... before arriving here, I'd not seen another in the flesh. [ O H . . . ] But, yes, they are. It's how I can allow these mammet to move... by combining them with common ore and gems.

It's a little gross, though, isn't it?

[readypunch]

I… think so. There were a few around, but- we weren't close. [oh. she makes a little sad sound.]. We'll have to keep an eye out, in case anyone else comes! Because- that'd be nice, right? [she nods, understanding.] So they've got the power to give them life!

Maybe a little? But- I mean, it's something that was happening anyway, right?

I'd love to meet more...! I hear there are paler ones, and it's wondrous. To think how people live... and yes. They need to be mixed with the common gems and ore, for there is not enough from my scales.

And... it was. I hate the idea of being wasteful. Of being... useless.

[readypunch]

I'll let you know if I see anyone, then! [she makes a short sound, nodding.] Oh- that makes sense! It'd… take a lot of scales to build just one, wouldn't it?

Well, I think you've done something very impressive. [she reaches out, to touch Bolormaa's hand- holding on, a little.] So- what if- could you make me one?

[ ...Bolormaa seems to pause for a little, tail wagging. Before she nodded. ] Of course I can. You've helped so much.

Oh- I'm not sure it's been that much! I'd like to help you out more, anyhow. Thank you! Do I- do I need to get you some things?

It's nice having a friend. [ aww, bolormaa! ] I could use some stray gems, and fabrics to craft the clothing...!!
