[Action] Look for the something necessities
1. Welcome to the Farm
For all that I was talking about settling down and growing some crops, I am not entirely certain I meant it.
[Chen regards the quaint farm, with its open fields and run-down greenhouse, from the fence gate -- one hand on his hip, the other still supporting the long staff he has slung over one shoulder, using its length as a lever to keep his massive keg upright.]
[Honestly, at his size, girth, and species, he can't help but stand out as something out of the ordinary.]
[At last he ventures on forward, taking the first step onto his new home.]
...Li Li would laugh at me, and then be bored. [That sentiment certainly brings a smile to his face.]
2. In Starhue Valley, Bear Welcome You!
[In a situation like this, there is only one thing to do: greet the neighbors!]
[So Chen sets out on a circuit around his farm and winding his way to every point of interest around, looking for people to say hello to. Out on the road? He's pacing his way over with a friendly hello. At home? Someone's knocking on your door! Out in your field hard at work? He's cheerfully vaulting the fence to approach.]
[...honestly that last one might be a little impressive.]

[Speaking of which, Cehd'ra clicks that hotplate on to begin that process and goes on setting the table. A pot of fresh jam from a neighbor and some bread from town joins the cups.]
A Brewmaster...like alchemy?
[There's medicinal herbs aplenty out in the woods if that's what Chen is after.]
no subject
[Not to be rude, but Chen is already spreading jam onto the bread. Food has been offered, food shall be partaken of.]

[Cehd'ra does pause for half a second when he turns back to the table, seeing Chen deciding not to wait on the tea to have a snack. An ear flicks like a shrug and he lets it go as more an oddity than rudeness.]
'Not sure why my mind leapt to alchemy instead of the obvious...
[Finally Cehd'ra sits down as well, a metal strainer in his hands, stuffed with dried tea and waiting for the water to get hot enough.]
What exactly are you looking to brew? Wine or beer or...?

[Cehd'ra looked towards the window and his farmland beyond. He'd done good work clearing the land...a job made easy considering the river running through his property cut back on the amount of land available to work. That's fine with him, he's happy to fish his nights away, but...]
Well I'm glad you enjoy the jam. A neighbor of mine, Plo Koon, is the one who made it if you'd like to get in touch with him. From what I understand he has a lot of wild berry bushes on his farm. As for myself I...haven't really settled on a crop yet. I was thinking of setting up some beehives.

Now that I have a guaranteed customer that makes the decision much easier. Beehives it is.
[He helps himself to some of the bread and jam as well while the tea leaves do their work, looking up at Chen thoughtfully. He's...never really done this before but he's willing to put in the work to get it right now that he has a goal.]
How much will you need?

[Cehd'ra smiles wider and reaches to finally pour that tea, Chen's cup first of course, he's the guest.]
