2nd Bond [Action/Closed to Game!Sycamore]
[It was another day in Starhue Valley and right now, Augustine is near the fountain in Pelican Town watching Fiu (Fennekin) and Bulle (Froakie) playing around as the latter blows bubbles while the former tries to pop them as fast as she can. It has been a while since he got a proper break. Between planning a small school in Seagull Village, learning more about his past life's memories, and the farm itself, he felt like a break should be best for him. Besides, overworking himself would deteriorate his physical and mental health in the long run.
However, as he turns around to see the other buildings and residents, one of the bubbles began to blow away, causing the Fox Pokemon to follow it in an attempt to pop it. Unfortunately, she ends up bumping onto the stranger's legs when she jumps to pop it.]

There are so many questions buzzing inside of his head, leaving him so overwhelmed that he's not sure where to begin finding answers. It's a good sort of overwhelmed though, one that fills him with an almost childlike sense of wonder and excitement, but unfortunately being overwhelmed isn't exactly good for getting anything done. As such, he's decided to leave his run down farm for the moment to go and explore Pelican Town. As he takes everything in and generally gets lost in his thoughts, he feels something bump into his legs. Being somewhat of a beanpole in stature, not exactly the strongest guy out there, and absolutely having a balance issue or two in general, this is almost enough to knock him over.]
Ah--! [Nope, nope! He's caught himself in time. Wondering what almost managed to topple him over, he looks down and finds a curious-looking creature. It looks similar to the foxes of his world, but different enough to catch his interest.] Why hello there, little friend! Where did you come from?

Meanwhile with Bulle, he manages to caught up with his fox friend, somehow worried that his owner will scold him if something happens to her. Thankfully, he finds her, but to his shock, she was caught by another Augustine. He then looks back and forth on the stranger and his owner, who is still sitting near the fountain.
Unfortunately, Bulle is the only one watching the television back in his owner's farmhouse and considering he watched too many sci-fi shows, he thinks that the stranger is an evil alien imposter. "Realizing" this, he angrily jumps up and throws as many Frubbles on the stranger's face, crying out some croaks as if he is saying "Let go my fox friend, you alien fiend!"]

[At that moment, another animal came running up to him. This one resembled an overgrown, blue frog. Fascinating! Are these creatures native to this world? He has to know more--
Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the frog-like animal seems to be irritated with him and blows bubbles in his face. Goodness, what is this about?]
Wait--!
[And despite the assault, he can't help but find it interesting. He's hopeless.]
no subject
Thankfully, Augustine notices all of his frog's antics and grabs him before he can throw and blow more bubbles to the oblivious man.]
Bulle, that's enough! What are you thinking?
[His Froakie tried to explain to his owner about his actions. However, Augustine didn't listen to his cries as he turns to the stranger.]
I'm really sorry about Bulle, sir.
[If the stranger cleans up the mess his frog made, Augustine's eyes widen as he saw his face, something that he may mistake him as his long-lost twin.]
M-Mon Dieu...

Where did this mirror come from? No, no. it's not a mirror, is it?]
...that letter certainly wasn't joking around when it mentioned the multiverse, was it? [Marvelous! Fascinating! Of all the wild things he'd imagined experiencing here, the possibility of finding himself hadn't even occurred to him, and that it's happened, he can't help but find it amazing.] To think I would run into, well, myself!
no subject
W-Well, I didn't expect to run into another me as well. Are you Augustine Sycamore?
no subject
Yes, that's right. Is it not the same for you? [Just because this is clearly himself he's talking to doesn't mean he should just assume. After all, multiple universes could call for any number of changes among each one of them, even as simple a change as a different last name.]
no subject
[He then shakes his head as he processes through what he just saw.]
I'm sorry, but this is the first time I've encountered something like this.
no subject
[He chuckles.]
Oh, please don't get the wrong idea -- it's the first time I've encountered such a thing myself. Still, I can't help but find it more curious and interesting than strange! I'm sorry if that's offputting. I've been told that I have a habit of letting my interest get the best of me at times.
no subject
[Though the problem still remains on their appearance. Besides, the only difference other than their last names is Sycamore's strong curiosity about the world. While he is also curious, he managed to control it to avoid being distracted from his work. At least it works during his time back in Recolle.]
I could say the same for myself. Though it did get me in trouble a few times during high school.
[Just before he can chuckle back, his Froakie quickly throws another Frubble, which Augustine quickly grabs his hand to prevent him from throwing more of them.]
I said that's enough, Bulle. You apologize to Sycamore right now or you're grounded.
[Bulle's eyes widen in horror. He really doesn't want to miss any more sci-fi shows and the familiar strangers seem to be no threat to his owner
(or any signs that he was an alien). So he puts his hand down as he frowns in shame.]I'm really sorry again for my Pokemon. He seems to be very hostile when he saw you handling Fiu. He must be somehow protective of her.
[If only you knew, Sauveterre...]

[And that's when he has to jump out of the way to avoid getting hit by another onslaught of bubbles, which he not only manages to do but manages to do without losing his balance and toppling over onto himself! Luck's on his side today.
He chuckles in response to Sauveterre's apology on behalf of his... Pokemon, is it?]
No real harm was done, so it's fine. I can certainly understand protectiveness! [His dear friend Lysandre can be rather protective of him, so he more than understands.] So you called them Pokemon, did you?
[Sorry, Sauveterre. This Augustine Sycamore doesn't know any more about them than you do.]
no subject
Um... Yes. You haven't heard of them, do you?
no subject
[Off brand Pokemon is a franchise that exists in his world, but not Pokemon itself. Gotta keep that fourth wall in tact!]
no subject
I thought so, too. Well, until I learned back home that they are very real through my past self's memories.

[He scratches his chin.]
So, he researched Pokemon... is there anything else you know about him?
no subject
As I can remember from his memories, not only he researched this strange phenomenon, but he gave away one of the three Pokemon to young children. Bulle and Fiu right here are two of those Pokemon.
no subject
[He laughs, because he's being lighthearted. He loves teaching college students, when it comes down to it.]
Regardless, I wonder why he'd just give the Pokemon away to them!
no subject
[He scratched his chin as he recalled the memories that he obtained so far.]
I don't know why, but it might have something to do with several memories where these people commanded these creatures in some kind of a combat sport of sorts.

They command their Pokemon some kind of an attack and they would follow it.
