001 Video

Oookay, haha, this is weird, but-- Good morning!

[Timothy's face appears on the video, too close before he backs up a little and grins down at his viewers. He looks excited and, finally for some people, sober.]

Craziest thing happened; walked out of my house this morning and like, yeah, I haven't cleaned up or anything in the fields or whatever yet but! I'm definitely keeping the house and porch clean, I'm not a slob, but-- Oh right, back on track, the craziest thing ever. I walk outside and I find this...

[Tim turns the camera to point it instead at a mother cat nursing her kittens in a box on his porch.]

What the fuck right? What do I even do with 'em?

[Okay so... Jack would definitely like, drown them all or something? And make a big deal out of it? But Timothy can't be that cruel to animals... Humans, probably, not baby kittens.]

Should I like, move 'em? I got the mom a bowl of water but she's not coming out.

Water. Fresh fish. Plenty of blankets. Attention. The whole nine yards.

[She was deadpan and serious. Take care...of the children.]

They're literally going to be blind and won't be able to care for themselves.

Not when they're barely squirming little screaming beans, you should. Only monsters would do that.

[Snark, snark, snark.]

The mother's going to need the support. It's more for making the space clean and warm.

That probably just means the mother doesn't trust you yet. Cats need their space and time to get to know you.

[A small sigh.]

If you're really concerned about them, just keep the food and water out for her and keep that safe watching distance. If you're lucky, then that's all you need to do.
