Entomophobia [Audio only]

Kibeep. Gikibi pibeep bibiki beep dibi.
[A couple of people in the valley have already this weird little dialect through their speakers, but this is the first time Cheryl had had the courage to address the valley at large. Her pad obediently translates for her, however, in singsong microsoft Sally style:] [Hello there. My name is Cheryl, and I recently took up a home near the mines.]

Pibeep keedibi bibeep... dibi kigibi beep? Keegi beegibeep? [My question then is... Is anyone here afraid of bugs? Like, really big ones?]

Many fears are irrational. Some fear insects because of childhood incidents of being bitten or stung, while for many others they trigger a sort of innate creepy factor because of the way they look and move. It can be quite an irrational fear.

[Don't mind him, he's an expert on this sort of thing.]

I'm not afraid of bugs. In fact, bugs are what I eat.

Although...how "big" are you speaking of...?
